January 30, 2024

CRL (Missing Person) Nesthorn Dr – Subject one was drinking alcohol with his family friend at incident location – Subject’s mother passed away approximately two weeks ago and subject emotionally has not handled her passing well – when Subject two woke up, Subject one was gone from incident location – Subject one last seen at 11:30 p.m. – Subject three and her boyfriend went to look for Subject one and located his boots and backpack down the street – Subject three was unable to locate Subject one in the area and at local businesses – deputies conducted an extensive area check including several streets, hillsides, drainages, hospitals, businesses, etc – sheriff K9 and 40K were unable to assist – deputy completed a teletype entering Subject one into the missing person system

CRL (Dispensing Narcotics) Scenic Dr – Start animal control for four dogs – contained in house but all subjects are going to jail – animal control stated they would respond to post the property – they have to post it for 24 hours and then they would handle it – deputy advised animal control it’s unknown if they will have access to the residence tomorrow – two dogs left in downstairs with food/water – two other dogs have run of the house with food/water

CRL (Attempted Burglary) Nesthorn Dr – On 1/29/24 at approximately 11:45 p.m. unknown subject(s) removed two window screens to the residence – unknown subject(s) left a pry tool behind on the deck behind the residence

TPK (Burglary) Forest Glen Rd – Sometime between 2019 and about 1/23/24 unknown subject(s) broke multiple windows in the RP’s home and made entry – a neighbor saw the broken window when he walked by the home on 1/23/24 and alerted the victim – the inside of the home was found in disarray and multiple items broken – victim’s daughter was the last one to leave the home in about December of 2019 and left the home locked – when the victim returned to her home on 1/30/24, the front door was shut but unlocked – unknown subject(s) also shot possibly BB’s at the victim’s windows and placed victim’s glassware on her mantle and did target practice – no BB gun found at the time of this report – victim provided deputies contact to provide additional information as she cleans through the home – per victim she was to have someone come out and board up the home as well – extra patrol request advised – glassware and knife found stuck into a wall was taken for latent prints – negative surveillance

LAA (Vandalism) Hwy 173/N Bay – On unknown date and time unknown subject(s) graffitied north concrete guard rail on North Bay bridge East of Hwy 173 – graffiti was covered with white paint

LAA (Vandalism) Hwy 173/Hospital Rd – Sometime between 1/26/24 and 1/29/24 unknown subject(s) graffitied on construction rail – deputy spoke with project manager – DR# provided – manager stated they would paint over rail

CRL (Felony Spouse Abuse) Weisshorn Dr – On 1/30/24 Twin Peaks Station received a courtesy report from Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office – parties in report came from Los Angeles area to vacation in Crestline – RP said that while she and subject were in Crestline on 1/26/24, subject punched her multiple times and pulled her hair – RP reported incident to LASO on 1/27/24 – RP did not desire prosecution but temporary restraining order was entered by LASO – called RP to verify complaint but no answer – voicemail left for callback

CRL (Terrorist Threats) Forest Shade Rd – At about 3:00 p.m. RP received messages from subject claiming to own a brothel and also be a member of a Mexican gang – RP was told he owed $20,000.00 for wasting one of his worker’s time and if he didn’t pay he would burn RP’s home and kill his family – subject sent RP his current address and names of the members of his family – RP left work to report due to the specifics this person had – RP does not know this person or who could be sending these messages – deputy advised RP to stop responding and contact law enforcement if he or any family members see suspicious persons/and or vehicles – also provided extra patrol request to RP – screen shots of messages received

CRL (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Scenic Dr – Suspect admitted to be in violation of possessing dangerous drugs – suspect admitted to having meth inside the center console of his vehicle – during a search of the vehicle, deputy located a small baggie of methamphetamine and a glass pipe with black/white residue inside – suspect was arrested – suspect was booked at CDC

February 1, 2024

CPP (Fraudulent Use of Credit Card) Pine Dr – RP checked his Social Security debit card and saw fraudulent charges dating back to 12/22/23 – RP had recently deactivated the account and received a new card – unknown subject(s) stole approximately $1,400.00 since 12/12/23

ARB (Domestic Battery) Hilltop Blvd – RP and suspect were in a push and shove match in suspect’s vehicle over suspect’s keys – RP said suspect grabbed her throat and pulled her hair – RP’s injuries were consistent with her story – arrested suspect and transported to CDC for booking

RSP (Robbery Strong Arm) Palo Alto Way – Subject one and Subject two lived at location with subject’s mom – all three parties became violent over residence not being clean – Subject one videoed the incident on their phone – during the incident Subject one attempted to video on her cellphone – Subject two took the cellphone out of her hand – upon deputy arrival, Subject two informed deputies she had Subject one’s phone and gave it to deputies to return to Subject one – Subject one desired prosecution against Subject two for the theft of her phone – parties advised to separate for the night – parties stated they would provide video of the incident

LAA (Paraphernalia) Overlook Ln – Deputy contacted subjects outside residence – arguing only over Subject one’s lost phone – Subject one and Subject two wanted to go see mother in hospital – advised hospital visiting hours were closed – visible paraphernalia on vehicle – both consented to search – deputy located multiple paraphernalia in subjects’ bags – subjects cited and released in field

February 2, 2024

LAA (Death Investigation) North Grass Valley Rd – Confirmed deceased – time of death 12:30 p.m. – body transferred to morgue for autopsy

LAA (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 189/Lakes Edge Rd – RP called and states suspect was lying on roadway at location – he looks uninjured but RP is concerned because its foggy – RP disconnected – suspect had an active warrant and was booked at CDC

RSP (Theft by Fraud) Hilltop Blvd – RP hired subject to do work at a building she owns with apartments and businesses – subject currently lives in apartment – part of the work was removing gold knotty pine paneling from walls – RP asked subject to store the paneling in an apartment of the building – in about June of 2021 RP was going to have paneling removed from the building and was told by subject that the paneling had already been disposed of due to its condition – RP did not ask subject to dispose of the wood – paneling was in good condition when it was removed and stored – RP does not believe subject disposed of the paneling and did something else with it – RP estimated the cost of the paneling with an insurance adjuster to be about $40,000.00 – in addition to subject’s theft of the paneling, RP found that subject used another person’s license number to do contract work on her building – RP has reported the use of another’s license and is also in the process of evicting subject – RP is also having building inspected due to the incomplete and possibly wrong work that subject did – deputy provided contact info to RP to send photos of paneling to

RSP (Assault with Weapon) Live Oak Dr – Suspect lived at incident location with his 69-year-old father and brother – suspect and his father were arguing – during incident, suspect picked up a 3-foot-long brass metal cart and acted like he was going to strike his father and brother with the cart – suspect swung metal cart at his brother but stopped mid swing before hitting him – suspect was arrested and booked

LAA (Death Investigation) N Grass Valley Rd – RP found subject deceased in bedroom – subject had high blood pressure and diverticulitis and was an alcoholic who had constant falls due to his drinking – subject had some trauma to his body that was possibly due to his falls – coroner arrived to continue investigation and will transport subject for an autopsy

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Cloudview Rd – RP says “help” and states she’s been beaten up – RP speaking with medical – RP is having difficulty speaking – she advised she was assaulted *everywhere* – no weapons – negative high – lots of drinking – subject is still at location – he has vehicle at location – RP states “he’s beating up the kitchen right now” – when asked to clarify she said the same thing – she keeps saying “he’s gonna blame me” – RP keeps saying “uh oh… uh oh” – she has been advising to put dogs away – male left with one of the dogs – RP states the dogs are scared – RP is having difficulty breathing and got really upset when subject left with one of the dogs – she’s advising he’s been drinking straight vodka – RP states she’s only had two beers and she’s been up all night – male left out front with one dog – one detained – both parties denied any physical altercation – female was extremely intoxicated and transported to St Bernardine’s via Fire – report taken for documentation

 February 3, 2024

CRL (Drunk in Public) Hillside Dr – Suspect, his wife and friends were drinking and high in an Airbnb in Crestline – an argument turned into a fight between suspect and other males at the gathering – when deputies arrived, suspect was visibly intoxicated and still trying to fight others – after attempting to calm things down, suspect was still trying to get past deputies to fight – suspect was under arrest and taken to CDC

LAA (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) Daley Cyn/Hwy 189 – Vehicle stopped for expired registration – driver found to have revoked license – driver cited and released

RIM (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) State Hwy 18/Pine Ave – Vehicle stopped for no license plates – record check showed vehicle was expired in 2021 – driver was found to have a revoked license – driver cited 

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – subject issued new court date – cite-released in field

CRL (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Scenic Dr/Lakeview Dr – Vehicle stopped due to sudden decrease of speed on highway – subject found to be on probation – deputy located methamphetamine and pepper spray during search – subject issued citation and released in field

February 4, 2024

CRL (Death Investigation) Zurich Dr – Elderly neighbor found deceased in bed 

CRL (Paraphernalia) Straight Way/Hertherly Ln – During a consensual stop subject admitted to possession of a meth pipe – during a search subject had a glass pipe with black/white residue – under Miranda rights subject admitted to carrying the meth pipe – she was arrested and citation released

CRL (Paraphernalia) Friendly Ln – Limited report

CRL (Death Investigation) Zurich Dr – Elderly neighbor found deceased in bed – coroner released body to family

February 5, 2024

TPK (Dispensing Narcotics) Boulder Ln – Suspect charged with bringing drugs into jail facility

TPK (Possession/Controlled Matter) Twin Peaks Station – Limited report

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Valley View Dr – On Sunday, February 4, 2024, subject was transported to St Bernardine’s in San Bernardino – subject is now on life-support in critical condition – medical staff advised there was methamphetamine, marijuana and fentanyl in his system – subject’s symptoms were consistent with an overdose – OD team notified – consent to search signed, scene photographed and property collected – report taken for documentation

RSP (Assault) Spring Dr – Suspect one and her girlfriend (Suspect two) came to the kitchen and got into an argument with suspect’s mother – mother got on the phone to call the police and suspects tried grabbing the phone from her – suspects punched mother in the face multiple times, causing her nose to bleed – mother believed Suspect two was the one who made her bleed but was unsure – suspects were arrested for battery – mother signed a CA and photographs taken – suspects taken and booked into CDC
