Twin Peaks man arrested for drugs and weapons

On Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station investigated a reported disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of Sierra Vista Lane in Twin Peaks.

During the investigation, Deputy J. Snow stopped a related vehicle as it drove away from the scene. Snow contacted Andrew Christianson, 40, and found him in possession of a loaded handgun, brass knuckles, a slungshot and illegal narcotics.

Christianson was arrested for HS 11370.1 (possession of narcotics while armed), PC 21810 (possession of brass knuckles) and PC 22210 (possession of a slungshot).

A slungshot is a maritime tool consisting of a weight, or “shot,” affixed to the end of a long cord often by being wound into the center of a knot called a “monkey’s fist.”

Christianson was booked at the Central Detention Center in lieu of $140,000 bail.
