CRL (Computer Crime) Morman Springs Rd – RP decided to follow through with a report to press charges against an HR director for tampering with his payroll bank account – RP will be speaking with an attorney while attempting to gain access to his administrative file for payroll activity

 CRL (Violation DVRO) Horst Dr – RP has a restraining order against his son – son is now on front porch – will be second-hand information from wife who is at location – suspect is known for being drunk and high – negative weapons – suspect has been violent in the past – suspect had an active felony warrant – suspect was arrested

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Wildrose Ln/Lake Dr – Vehicle stopped for obstructed license plate/expired registration – driver was found to have a suspended/revoked license and had an active warrant – driver was issued citation for driving with a suspended license and booked at CDC on warrant – vehicle parked in Crestline post office lot

CPP (Miscellaneous Incident) Sawpit Canyon Rd – RP’s stepbrother (subject) suffers from mental health issues – over the weekend subject sent RP texts regarding property subject believed RP had – subject and RP exchanged messages and subject made veiled threats toward RP – after RP blocked subject, the subject texted RP’s father and others but did not make direct threats RP or his father in the texts – RP said that subject also messaged his ex-wife but she was unavailable for contact due to the hour – deputy will follow up with RP, father, and ex-wife tomorrow – RP said he wanted the incident documented in case he had to defend himself against subject – report for documentation

February 14, 2024

CPP (Miscellaneous Incident) Rate Rd – On 1/12/24 74-year-old female and her 82-year-old husband were verbally arguing – during the incident the male half threw a cup of tea in the female’s direction – the tea got onto the female’s leg and ran down to her foot causing her middle toe to burn – injury was inconsistent with allegations – report taken for documentation

LAA (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) Marshall Rd/S Joaquin Miller Rd – Vehicle stopped for out lights – driver was in violation of driving with a suspended/revoked license – driver issued citation and vehicle towed

CRL (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) Lake Dr/Forest Shade Rd – Vehicle stopped for no registration and out lights – driver found to have a suspended/revoked license – driver issued citation – vehicle towed

RSP (Domestic Battery) Lightfoot Way – Daughter called about a domestic disturbance between mother and father – deputy contacted husband (suspect) inside residence – suspect and victim had been married approximately eight years and lived in the residence with two daughters – at approximately 8:00 p.m. suspect argued with victim over relationship issues – suspect smashed victim’s phone and pushed her down multiple times throughout the residence – victim declined meds – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC

CPP (Assault) Hartman Cir – Subject was drunk and tried to physically fight several other tenants at the incident location – mutual combat fight occurred between involved parties – nobody desired prosecution – subject transferred by Fire to ARMC for his injuries

CRL (Dispensing Narcotics) Friendly Ln – Med advised to stand by – blocked off from inside – code 33 lifted, start code enforcement – house appears like it’s going to breakdown – code enforcement advised they already had a case open 

CRL (Driving with Suspended/Revoked License) Lake Gregory Dr/San Moritz Dr – Vehicle stopped for out lights – driver had suspended/revoked license – driver cited – vehicle towed

CRL (Sexual Battery) Berne Dr – Courtesy report from San Diego Police Department – allegations of sexual battery – incident occurred in January 2021 – ongoing investigation

VOE (Grand Theft) Meadow Ln – RP is the realtor for the property and was asked to report the ladders on the side of the house being stolen – RP had her son working on the house due to a flood and he saw the ladders on 2/12/24 – on 2/13/24 he noticed they were missing – RP stated there was about 15 of them and they cost about $382.00 each

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Berne Dr – Subject called 911 several times and asked for help – subject admitted to calling 911 and said he called because he wanted attention and someone to talk to – subject wanted to tell deputies about issues with his mother and her boyfriend – allegations were investigated and determined to be unfounded – incident report taken for documentation

ARB (Death Investigation) Elko Dr – Believes female stopped breathing or had a heart attack – will be 73-year-old female – unsure if breathing – advising female is glossy – chest not seen moving – doesn’t believe she is breathing – health has been declining – female has been sick – attempting to get her on her back – Fire having RP clear airway and start compressions – Fire on scene – Fire still working on subject – time of death 12:08 a.m. – no primary doctor – last doctor visit 12 years ago – history of alcohol and cigarettes – hasn’t drunk or smoked in over 12 years – history of chronic back pain, took Vicodin – COPD, emphysema

LAA (Violation DVRO) Lake Arrowhead Elm – Subject and victim are going through a divorce – both parties have active DVROs against each other – both parties work for the school district – victim works at Lake Arrowhead Elementary School and subject works for IT department – on 2/16/24 at about 1:00 p.m. subject went to the incident location to deliver laptops – victim saw subject at her workplace and felt this was a violation of the DVRO – statements obtained from both parties – incident captured on video

TPK (Warrant Arrest) S Fairway Dr – During a call for service suspect gave a fake name and had a suspected methamphetamine pipe in his pocket – when his real name was located using his fingerprints, it was discovered he had a felony warrant for probation/parole violation – he was arrested and booked without incident

CRL (Driving without License) Lake Gregory/ Bergschrund – Vehicle pulled over for out taillamp – subject was found without license – consent search of vehicle conducted – subject citation released – vehicle released to licensed driver

TPK (Driving Without License) State Hwy 189/S Grass Valley Rd – Driver stopped for running a stop sign and had no license – driver citation released – vehicle towed – driver released to parent

CPP (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Bone Dr/Evergreen Dr – Deputy contacted suspect walking in the middle of the road – suspect consented to search of his person – during search a baggy of white crystalline substance was located in his jacket pocket – records check showed suspect was a 290 registrant – suspect was arrested and booked – pending search warrant for cell phone

LAA (Warrant Arrest) North Bay Rd/Cedarwood Dr – Vehicle stopped for no expiration tabs – driver found to have an active warrant – subject cited and released in the field – DMV noted verbal service form 310 – signed by subject and driver’s license taken – vehicle locked and secured by subject – teletype entered

CRL (P/M/S Dangerous Weapon) Pioneer Camp Rd/Shady Ln –  While deputy was pulled over to the side of the road, deputy observed suspect walking toward vehicle – deputy had a consensual encounter with suspect until a record check confirmed he had a misdemeanor warrant – deputy advised suspect of his warrant and advised him deputy would conduct a search of his person before being arrested – during a search deputy located a fixed blade in his rear left pocket – blade was approximately 3.5 inches long and had a homemade handle with two finger loops made from metal and numerous layers of black tape – deputy advised suspect he was under arrest for carrying a concealed dirk/dagger – deputy transported suspect to CDC for booking – deputy identified suspect by prior jail booking photographs

VOE (Driving Without a License) S State Hwy 138/Waters Dr – Vehicle stopped for defective windshield – driver found to be without license – driver cited – passenger was registered owner of vehicle and has valid driver’s license – vehicle released to registered owner

RSP (Warrant Arrest) Hunsaker Dr/Hilltop Blvd – warrant arrest – subject booked into CDC

LAA (Death Investigation) Del Norte Ln – 94-year-old white male adult found unresponsive in bed – no medical aid attempted 

VOE (Death Investigation) Spruce Dr – 50-year-old male found unresponsive in his cabin – no trauma or foul play – Fire performed ACLS for 40 minutes – time of death 10:30 a.m. – wife present on scene

TPK (P/M/S Dangerous Weapon) Sierra Vista Dr – Suspect was contacted during a call for service for suspected trespassing – suspect refused to exit his vehicle when ordered – while removing him from the vehicle, deputy observed and suspect stated he had a gun in a shoulder holster – deputy removed the gun which was not registered to him – nor did suspect have a concealed carry permit – during secondary search of his person deputy located a useable amount of suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine – consent search of his vehicle in the center console deputy located brass knuckles – suspect was transported and booked into CDC

LAA (Resisting Officer Report) Yosemite Dr – Suspect white 32-year-old female no bail warrant out of LA County – suspect was contacted at residence – upon advising suspect of warrant he began to resist by pulling away from deputies attempting to detain him – the resistance caused suspect and deputies to fall to the ground – suspect sustained a non-visible cut to his bottom lip causing it to bleed – suspect refused medical from Fire and was then transported to WVDC – due to suspect’s comments he was required to be jail checked at ARMC – doctors found nothing medically wrong with suspect and was cleared – suspect was booked

LAA (Death Investigation) Del Norte Ln – At approximately 9:00 a.m. subject was located – subject was unresponsive and cold to the touch – no obvious signs of foul play – apparent natural death

VOE (Death Investigation) Spruce Dr – 50-year-old male found without pulse and not breathing – Fire responded and pronounced deceased at 10:30 a.m. – no foul play – suspect appeared to be natural causes – coroner released body to family

LAA (Warrant Arrest ) Rainer Rd – Contacted subject at her residence confirmed by CDC – citation issued 

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – Vehicle stopped for reflective coating on license plate – driver was sole occupant – had a warrant – citation released on her warrant and verbal warning on reflective coating

CRL (DUI Drugs) Lake Dr – Suspect was contacted for a call for service and was found to be driving recklessly – traffic stop was conducted and he was found to have a revoked license – deputy conducted field sobriety tests and found suspect to be under the influence of an unknown type of drug – suspect was arrested and transported to ARMC for a jail check and booked at West Valley

February 19, 2024

RSP (Keeping of Property) Wilderness Rd – Firearm was left at rental cabin – firearm located by RP – attempted to call owner but no luck – firearm taken for safe keeping

TPK (Miscellaneous Incident) Alpine Ln – RP states he is working a call regarding an 11-month-old baby who tested positive for drugs in her system and healing from broken bones – RP wants to check to see if there are any other kids at location

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) State Hwy 138 – Juveniles in residence appeared safe – 15-year-old juvenile states her 5-year-old sister was hit by mom – 5-year-old juvenile played with mom’s makeup and paint making a mess – juvenile was disciplined and smacked on both arms – no visible marks seen – 5-year-old juvenile states she was not in fear and felt safe in residence – residence had basic needs for children – mess was not excessive – no obvious signs of physical abuse or neglect

CRL (Dog Bite) San Moritz Dr/Moritz Ln – Occurred 40 minutes ago – says a white female adult was walking three dogs off leash and they bit her husband and her dog – husband declined meds – RP asked the white female adult for her info and she walked away, then left in vehicle – negative direction of travel – RP requesting deputy contact to have incident documented 

LAA (Domestic Battery) Cottage Grove Rd – On Monday, February 19, 2024 deputy was assigned to Twin Peaks Patrol division from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. – deputy wore a uniform and drove a marked sheriff’s patrol vehicle – at about 10:09 p.m. deputy was dispatched to Cottage Grove Rd in reference to a domestic dispute – upon arrival deputy contacted victim seated in his vehicle waiting for deputy contact – victim told deputy he and his girlfriend of three years were at the incident location for a weekend getaway – on the night of the incident victim and suspect got into a verbal argument about being intimate – verbal argument turned physical when suspect punched victim in the face multiple times – victim complained of pain on the left side of his face – based on information gathered deputy arrested suspect for being in violation of domestic battery – suspect was transported to CDC to be booked
