RSP (Computer Crime) Glen Oak Dr – On 4/1/24, RP saw a purchase on her credit card for Lowe’s in Rancho Cucamonga for $870.60 – states the order was for a store pick-up in subject’s name – RP states she never made the order – tried to contact Lowe’s to cancel the order – states subject was able to pick up the order before it was canceled – RP is not sure how subject got access to her account and use of her MasterCard – RP did mention she had her laptop serviced at BestBuy in Redlands – possibly gained access, but is not sure – RP canceled her card – deputy will attempt to obtain video surveillance from Lowe’s 

LAA (Theft by Fraud) Corona Cir – In early November 2023, RP received a letter from the IRS stating she would be receiving her tax return from 2021 – RP waited until 12/26/23 to contact IRS regarding her check – the IRS told the RP to wait a bit longer – on 1/13/24, RP contacted the IRS and her case had been transferred to the IRS Fraud Department – RP was given a packet by the IRS to fill out – the check was lost during mailing – was cashed by an unknown subject – the post office never received the letter – the letter had no means of tracking where it went – no additional leads

CRL (DUI Over .08%) Pine Ridge Rd – RP’s brother is drunk – arguing with family – gone in red Ford F250 – subject is firefighter – history of physical violence with family – guns kept inside residence – unknown location – no guns inside subject’s truck to RP’s knowledge – subject “is not allowed to have guns” – vehicle located matching description – driver contacted – found to be driving under the influence – suspect arrested – booked without incident – teletype sent for tow

CRL (Tow Request) Lake Dr/Forest Shade Rd – Vehicle stopped for expired registration – citation issued

TPK (Courtesy Report) Grandview Rd – RP is claiming his boss sodomized him in February 2023 while the two were in Azusa in a hotel – RP does not remember him physically sodomizing him, but the next morning, while showering, he thought he felt lube near his anus – spoke with subject who denied anything sexual ever happened – spoke with RP’s wife who stated that the last three days the RP has been all overly emotional and tried to accuse mother of sodomizing him – stated RP’s medication have recently been changed and they’re trying to balance them out – RP desired prosecution

LAA (Petty Theft) West Shore Rd/Alpen Dr – Five kayaks and a lily pad were taken from his dock – RP advised they were locked up – no suspects at this time – approximate value is $2,000.00

RSP (290 Register) Valencia Way – Suspect issued a citation for failure to update vehicle information 

CED (Assault) Hook Creek Rd – RP was confronted by suspect in the parking lot of the trading post in Cedar Glen – suspect exited his vehicle and began yelling at RP and her friend over road rage – at some point the RP’s window was accidentally rolled down – RP was talking to her husband – suspect reached into vehicle and attempted to grab the RP’s cellphone – RP tried to keep her phone in her possession – during the struggle, RP was hit in the left eye by suspect – suspect denied striking her but admitted to trying to grab her phone because he thought she was trying to have him talk to her husband – RP signed a citizen’s arrest – suspect met at Twin Peaks Station – after speaking to him, he was placed under arrest and transported to CDC for booking

TPK (Warrant Arrest) Pine Cone Ln – Cite and release – advised of court date – suspect signed citation promising to appear in court

RSP (Assault W/Weapon) Hilltop Blvd – CHP transfer – victim works at the incident location – victim was sitting in his vehicle getting ready to leave work – a former co-worker of victim parked his vehicle behind victim’s vehicle blocking victim in – subject exited his vehicle with a red baseball bat – chased victim and tried to swing the bat at victim – victim estimated damage to his windshield to be approximately $500.00 – deputies located subject’s vehicle at his residence in Running Springs – deputies made several attempts to knock on the door – subject did not answer

April 5, 2024

TPK (Domestic Battery) Iris Dr – CHP transfer – Victim and suspect have been in a dating relationship off and on for several years – suspect has been living with victim for a couple of weeks – both drank alcohol together at the residence – victim felt afraid as suspect became overly intoxicated – suspect has assaulted victim in the past and becomes violent when he drinks alcohol – victim asked suspect to leave her residence multiple times – suspect pinned her down to the bed multiple times restricting her movement – victim bit suspect on the face to get him off her – victim said she fought “very hard” to get away from suspect, but she was unsure how she injured him – remembered punching and biting suspect to get him off her – suspect eventually went to his vehicle which was parked in driveway – after several hours suspect started to bang on the front door of the residence asking for his car keys – suspect forced open the window near the front door and came inside – victim had no visible injuries from the altercation but said her forehead hurt – suspect said victim started altercation and attacked him first – suspect had several minor injuries including a bite mark on his face – suspect said he did not want victim to go to jail – he wanted to be considered the dominant aggressor

CRL (Domestic Battery) Arbula Dr – CHP transfer – victim and suspect have been in a dating relationship – on 4/5/24, the victim and suspect argued over bills and their relationship – during the argument, the victim yelled in suspect’s face – suspect thought the victim was going to hit her, so suspect spit in victim’s face – the victim walked away but returned – the victim spit in suspect’s face and shoved her – suspect then punched the victim twice on the left side of his neck – under Miranda, suspect admitted to spitting and punching the victim 

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Great View Dr – Sometime between 4/4/24 at 1:00 p.m. and 4/5/24 at 8:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole the victim’s 1999 white Ford F250 utility truck from the driveway – no one had permission to take the victim’s vehicle – neighbor had video of victim’s vehicle driving down the road at approximately 4:00 a.m. – teletype sent

RSP (Death Investigation) Wagon Wheel Dr – On 4/4/24, subject was released from Loma Linda with heart issues – on 4/5/24, subject went to bed – no complaints – wife found subject unresponsive in bed – CPR was performed – no suspicious circumstances

 April 6, 2024

VOE (Burglary) Balsam Ln – Between 4/3/24 and 4/6/24, unknown subject(s) cut the lock to the shed and stole welder valued at $1,800.00 – had PP welding marked on it – two “Fronius” welders stolen from within the residence – each valued at $3,200.00 – lockbox with $2,500.00 with miscellaneous jewelry was missing – incident location video surveillance did not work – neighbor’s video did not capture anything – no additional leads 

CRL (Driving W/O License) Lake Dr/Old Mill Rd – Vehicle towed – driver was found to have an expired license – teletype sent

CRL (Driving W/O License) Lake Dr/Pioneer Camp Rd – Vehicle stopped for no license plate – driver found to have an expired license – vehicle towed – teletype sent

RSP (Warrant Arrest) Poplar Dr – RP advising drunk roommate was chasing RP with a pocket knife – states roommate trying to kick RP and RP’s brother out all day – RP has lived there for a few months – RP wanted to ensure residence was clear – suspect wanted a new court date for his warrant – teletype sent for warrant

April 7, 2024

LAA (Warrant Arrest) Rim of the World Dr – Suspect contacted at his residence – arrested for his warrants – transported and booked into CDC without incident 

CRL (Driving W/O License) San Moritz Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – Vehicle stopped – driver issued citation for driving without a license – vehicle parked in a parking spot in southern lake parking lot – driver advised to contact a licensed driver to pick up his vehicle

LAA (Assault) Holiday Ln – Subjects were working a job together – subject 1 felt like subject 2 was wasting his time – subject 1 got mad and pushed subject 2 – subject 2 tripped on the tow hitch behind him and fell to the floor – he got back up and subject 1 punched him two times in the chest – subject 1 stopped and the two eventually deescalated the situation – subject 2 went home – his girlfriend later dropped him off at Mountains Community Hospital – subject 2 had a gash on his forehead and his upper nose from the fall – did not desire prosecution

TPK (Lost Property) Twin Peaks Station – Guns most likely left at shooting range off Hwy 330 – limited report

LAA (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Vehicle was stopped for violation – driver was found to have a suspended license – passenger who held a valid license drove vehicle away after the driver was cited

LAA (Driving W/O License) S State Hwy 173/Rainbow Dr – Vehicle stopped for expired registration – driver cited for driving without a license – vehicle was left parked – driver is homeless – stays in his vehicle – due to weather, vehicle was not towed

April 8, 2024

LAA (Death Investigation) Everest Rd – Subject fell on the floor in the living room – called out to her husband for help – husband helped subject onto the couch – right after, subject was unresponsive and 9-1-1 was dialed by daughter-in-law

LAA (Violate Court Order) Grass Valley Rd – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – RP said she arrived at the station for exchange last Friday and subject never showed up – RP advised deputy he was at the station and had pictures, with timestamp, showing himself at the back parking lot waiting at 7:57 a.m. – both statements taken – report will be sent off to the DA

CRL (Assault) Lake Dr – Victim was on her way to work when she found the suspect lying on the ground in front of the bar – victim asked the suspect if he was OK – the suspect smacked the victim once – suspect was drunk – the suspect was located, detained and later positively identified by the victim – when deputy located suspect, he was stumbling – suspect booked into CDC for assault and disorderly conduct

RIM (Identity Theft) Bear Springs Rd – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – RP stated on 3/5/24, he received a letter from the IRS in the mail – the IRS letter claimed money from working at Door Dash and therefore owes $17,000.00 in back taxes – RP reached out to Door Dash and it was indeed fraud – the IRS asked for a police report to further investigate on their end
