“The student art this year was exceptional.”

That was the opinion of three different members of the Mountain Arts Network, which held its student art show recently.

The judges awarded prizes in three categories.

In Mixed Media, third place went to Lilyan Allen, second to Zoe Brotzer and first to Christian Serrato.

Third place in Photography went to Tomas Viramontes, second to Asa Shalor and first to Jazmin Bahena.

In Ceramics, Baianna Nikas was awarded first place; Alexandria Shugard, second; and Isaiah Stiansen, first.

Best in Show was won by Mackenzie Cerwin.

Each student was awarded a certificate, a ribbon and a monetary award.

The display of all the students’ work will be up at the gallery in Lake Arrowhead Village until mid-May. Be sure to stop by and admire the students’ amazing work.
