Notebook with 'Upcoming Events' text, coffee, pen.

Have you been dreaming about jetting off to the Caribbean? Hearing those steel drums in your head? Tasting the delicious flavors of the cuisine?

Dream no more! The Rim of the World Educational Foundation invites you to their Caribbean Gala on Sunday, May 19 at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.

Beginning at 3 p.m., you will enjoy the music of Island Rhythm Productions. At 5 p.m. the buffet will open with flavors of the Caribbean.

Rim Ed supports three programs in the Rim of the World Unified School District – AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), CTE (Career Technical Education) classes and Partnerships with Schools grants.

Current students and graduates of the AVID and CTE programs will be at the gala to share with Rim Ed’s guests how those programs have impacted their lives. Guests will then have the opportunity to donate to Rim Ed and help perpetuate these life-changing programs.

For more information and to purchase tickets to the gala, visit www.rimedfoundation.org.
