The Mountain Christian Women’s Fellowship had to cancel their April tea due to a spring snowstorm. Rather than miss the message that Marlene Lopez was going to bring to the tea, they are rescheduling her talk, “The Broken Vessel,” for the May 3 tea.

Marlene Lopez
Lopez is a retired educator, wife, mother of four young children, cancer survivor and griever of the broken vessel, her son, David.
“We all struggle to keep our lives together in a world that is falling apart,” Lopez said. “When others around us are struggling, we may try to help them put the pieces of their broken or shattered lives back together but, in the end, only God can restore the broken vessel.”

Pearl Harry
Pearl Harry will provide the music for the May tea. A student athlete in her junior year, she leads worship for her high school youth group at the Packinghouse as well as for chapels at her school, Packinghouse Christian Academy. She and her band Rooted have just started recording and releasing music on Spotify (under PCA Collective).
At the teas, the ladies have started to wear unique and beautiful tea hats. They are encouraging everyone to join in and wear their own special afternoon tea hats.
Call or text Beth at (909) 223-1285 to make a reservation; $10 is payable at the door. Ladies should bring their own tea cups.
The tea will take place at Church of the Woods, 1410 Calgary Drive, Lake Arrowhead.
