CRL (Paraphernalia) Lake Dr/Rocky Dell Dr – Deputy contacted subjects from previous vehicle check in front of the Crestline Smoke Shop – suspect consented to a search of the vehicle – while searching the vehicle, a black case was found under the driver’s seat – the contents of the case had a glass pipe consistent with a methamphetamine pipe – under Miranda, suspect admitted the belonged to him – suspect was cited and released in the field
CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Lake Dr/Zurich Dr – Vehicle stopped for broken tail light – driver found to have active misdemeanor warrants and suspended/revoked license – suspect arrested for warrants – citation issued – vehicle towed – teletype sent

CRL (False Vehicle Registration) Lake Dr/Alder Rd – A records check of the vehicle showed vehicle had wrong license plates and a note was left with a subject’s phone number – phone contact with suspect who advised he owned the vehicle – suspect responded to the vehicle and explained it was broken down – stated he purchased the vehicle about six months ago from a friend who forged his aunt’s signature – suspect was aware the vehicle’s license plates did not belong on the vehicle, but that was how he purchased the vehicle – suspect was cite released in the field
BLU (Burglary) State Hwy 18 – RP went to incident location today and saw the lock on the observatory door broken and the door open – states telescope was messed with and left on – was badly damaged – the telescope is valued at $1.7 million – last seen in good condition three to four days ago – subject(s) damaged the horizontal gear mechanism and possibly the interior of the telescope – RP is in the process of ordering a mechanic out to quote the damages – no video of the subject(s) so far – RP is still reviewing the cameras – RP will email additional finding and repair quote
CRL (Domestic Battery) Sleepy Hollow Motel – RP heard screaming in Room four – subject got upset over ex-husband conversation – suspect pushed the victim onto the bed – placed his right hand on her face – told subject if she kept moving and yelling, he would break her neck – upon deputy arrival, subject was gone – victim refused photographs and medical

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) San Moritz Ln/San Moritz Dr – Vehicle check conducted on vehicle parked near San Moritz Lodge – contacted subject who was fishing – subject stated the vehicle belonged to him – during a search of the vehicle, deputy located a plastic baggy with a white crystalline substance – suspect was cited and released in field
CPP (Keeping of Property) Hartman Cir – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – RP is dropping off firearm at station due to court order – firearm is a Glock 17 Gen 4 – turned in firearm – teletype entered for safekeeping
LAA (Death Investigation) Crown Dr – Subject had a few medical conditions – wife observed him collapse – pronounced at the scene
CRL (Disturbance Husband/Wife) Moon Dr – CHP transfer – subjects were fighting all day over relationship issues – arguing escalated and subject 1 pulled subject 2 down to the ground by her shirt – subject 2 grabbed onto subject 1’s shirt and ripped it as she fell – both parties did not want to report and declined medical – no injuries – will document per policy

CRL (Disorderly Conduct) Lake Gregory Dr/Lake Dr – Information from CHP – female said her boyfriend was violating his probation and trying to fight someone – both parties are drunk – disconnected – calling again – female advising they were in a traffic collision 20 minutes ago by the lake – subjects currently walking by market – on second call back, female said they are passing by McDonald’s and suspect is irate – negative description for either subject – negative description of traffic collision – refusing to advise what they crashed into – contacted suspect by Goodwin’s Market – suspect had slurred speech and admitted to being drunk in public – during the incident, suspect resisted arrest – suspect arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest
VOE (Lost Property) Fir Ln – Between 4/22/24 at approximately 6:00 p.m. and 4/23/24 at 8:00 a.m., victim lost his black Louis Vuitton wallet which contained $700.00, his identification, Social Security card, direct express debit card and a Vanilla card – victim lost his wallet at the Magic 7 Market – suspect realized his wallet was missing – teletype sent
RSP (Fraud Use Credit Card) Magic Dr – On Thursday, 5/9/24, victim received a “Facetime audio” phone call from the caller ID FRAUDSECURITYTEAMS@ICLOUD.COM – she spoke to a male who advised he worked with the bank – the caller provided victim with her first and last name, and date of birth as proof of verification – he informed victim she had fraudulent transactions within her bank account for large amounts – caller advised he was going to stop the transactions and attempt to investigate the fraud – he sent codes – he advised the codes would give him access to her bank account to reverse the transactions – this process took a long time, which concerned victim, but she ultimately believed the caller worked for the bank – caller told the victim he would call her back the following day with more information – on 5/10/24, victim never heard back from the bank – she called Chase Bank and inquired about the fraud – Chase Bank advised they never called regarding fraud – after further review, they learned the caller had accessed her bank account and made three fraudulent transactions – two of the transactions were for $125,000.00 each – the third transaction was declined by the bank – victim did not know who the subject was – she started an investigation with the bank

TPK (Grand Theft) Grandview Rd – Southern California Edison trucks parked up above the old Grandview Elementary School for the past month – between 5/10/24 at 6:00 p.m. and 5/12/24 at 2:20 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole an unknown amount of copper wire and tools from multiple large Edison trucks/trailers – elementary school ground gates were left open by crew – no signs of damage to any trucks – negative suspects – RP will attempt to gather itemized list for all stolen items on a later date/time
CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Springy Path – Vehicle was stopped for light out – driver was found to have active warrant – driver arrested, transported and booked into CDC without incident
VOE (Domestic Battery) Fir Ln – CHP transfer – RP says she received a Facebook message from victim at 5:51 p.m. – is her cleaning lady – was a code word that indicates she is in danger and needs law enforcement – says male half reads her messages and broke her phone – advising male does own guns – arrest made – suspect transported to CDC without incident where he was booked on his charge

RSP (Violate Court Order) Summit Dr – RP’s ex entered the garage and took his belongings that RP stored there – RP confirmed she has a restraining order against him – suspect violated protective order by going to the protected person’s house and retrieving his items – attempted contact with suspect at his known address – no contact made
CRL (Vandalism) Straight Way – Confirmed two windows were broken – appears juvenile subject threw a large rock through each of the two windows – both windows are semi-new special order weather specific, double-paned – estimated cost to replace is approximately $2,000.00 – will contact neighbor tomorrow who had positive identification of the juvenile who threw rock
CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Straight Way – Secondhand information from CHP – RP’s son was bitten by the neighbor’s dog – at approximately 6:00 p.m., RP’s son played outside on Lee Bert Way and was bitten by a black/white dog near the field behind RP’s residence – RP took his son to the hospital where they bandaged his wound – son suffered from a puncture wound to his right arm – RP confronted dog owner who apologized and told RP to not let his son antagonize the dog by the fence – dog was not tied up and used an opening through the fence to leave the field area and bite the boy on Lee Bert Way – advised Animal Control who would respond in the morning
CRL (Drunk in Public) Springwater Rd/Lake Dr – Upon arrival, deputy observed a white male adult, who matched the RP’s description, walking/stumbling in the middle of the Manzanita/Lake Dr intersection – male identified himself and said he drank alcoholic beverages and was headed home – suspect did not know his address – did not have keys to his residence – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC without incident
