VOE (Missing Person) Waters Dr – RP wanting to report daughter as a missing person – RP was on a FaceTime call with her daughter on 5/11/24 – an unknown male assaulted daughter and the phone call ended – daughter stays in the Woodland Hills area – is known to be a prostitute and use drugs – RP and subject communicate regularly – RP is concerned due to not talking to daughter over the past few days – deputy completed a teletype and entered subject into missing person system – Van Nuys PD advised

CRL (Assault) Sleepy Hollow Motel – Requesting deputies in front of address first – RP has an emergency court order for custody of his children – he is having his mother serve his children’s mother – states she’s bipolar and alcoholic – very concerned as to what could happen if things escalate – female served child custody order by grandmother of children – female was advised of options and gave children to father per order – during service of order, the female was “hit” in the face by the paperwork as she attempted to close the door – female demanded a report for assault – will be sent to the DA for review

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Crest Forest Dr – RP arrived at his storage yard just south of Hilltop Liquor – he saw the front gate chain had been cut – when he looked inside, he noticed the Diamond C dump trailer was gone – RP asked the neighboring business and found footage of a white truck pulling the trailer north on Crest Forest Dr, then turning left onto Crestline Rd out of camera view – teletype sent for trailer

LAA (Assault) Lake Arrowhead Village – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – On 5/14/24, RP’s 15-year-old son was out fishing at the docks in Lake Arrowhead – the juvenile was approached by a male subject – later identified – who asked him to leave – moments later, subject grabbed juvenile by the neck – juvenile was able to free himself and run away – mother photographed injuries sustained during the altercation – will forward surveillance footage which captured the incident – RP wants to file charge(s) – will follow up with subject

RSP (Identity Theft) Live Oak Dr – RP has fraud on his bank account – deputy spoke with RP regarding the fraudulent charges he found on his bank account – RP saw two $1,400.00 withdrawals from his Front Wave Credit Union – he started a fraud report with his bank and requested a police report – report drawn for identity theft

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – No report

CED (Grand Theft Auto) Elder Dr – On 5/16/24 between 12:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole victim’s black Ford Explorer – victim left key inside vehicle – vehicle was located by the victim using GPS tracking – vehicle located on Hwy 173 – subject drove vehicle off the shoulder into a forested area – victim will contact tow company to have vehicle towed from incident location – teletype sent for theft/recovery of vehicle

LAA (False Pretense) Crown Way – RP found a house for rent on Craigslist from subject with Open Door – they paid partial payments over a span of two days and did physical walk through of the residence with subject on FaceTime – RP saw the house was still on the market and confronted subject with the information – she realized it was a scam – created a fraud case with her bank

LAA (Driving W/O License) S State Hwy 173/Mittry Ln – Suspect is 290 Registrant – compliance check – upon further investigation, license suspended/revoked – suspect issued citation – vehicle towed – teletype entered

LAA (Search & Rescue) Pacific Crest Trl – RP was hiking the Pacific Crest Trail – slipped – possible broken ankle – says will be about one mile from Splinter’s Cabin picnic area – contacted RP approximately two miles from Splinter’s Cabin – provided scene security for San Bernardino Fire – Fire rendered necessary medical aid – CHP Air has hoisted subject – en route to Mountains Community Hospital 

LAA (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 189/Lakes Edge Rd – Suspect arrested and booked into CDC on his misdemeanor warrant

CRL (Lost Property) Pine Dr – Phone stolen yesterday – requesting report – iPhone 14 Pro Max – unable to track phone – daughter went to youth group at the incident location – left phone on the playground – about 8:45 p.m., daughter noticed phone missing – daughter stated there were two male juveniles near the area, but did not see them take the phone – youth group leader had everyone search the area, but they were unable to locate phone – no video surveillance – phone was deactivated

LAA (Shoplifting) Holiday Ln – CHP transfer – subjects entered the 7-Eleven – stole approximately $60.00 worth of alcohol – both parties fled the business in a silver Infinity – deputies contacted both parties – both were drunk – both arrested

BLU (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 189/Acorn Ln – Deputy conducted traffic stop in response to call for service – saw subjects in a blue Chevy pickup towing a white Chevy pickup – deputy initiated traffic stop due to expired registration on both vehicles – subject 1 exited the vehicle – was detained by deputy – advised that his truck would be towed and an inventory of the vehicle would be conducted – subject 1 advised that there was a small amount of methamphetamine in the rear passenger cup holder – deputy conducted search of the vehicle – <1 gram of suspected meth and <1 gram of suspected fentanyl located – suspect 1 was Mirandized – claimed ownership of the narcotics – suspect 1 was issued a citation and transported to CDC for booking – upon arrival at CDC, he notified deputy that he had swallowed one gram of fentanyl – suspect 1 was transported by AMR to St Bernardine’s hospital and cite released – suspect 2 was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to CDC – during intake process, CDC advised the warrant had been recalled – suspect 2 was released at CDC – both vehicles were towed for impound and storage by Don’s Towing in Running Springs

RSP (Drug Overdose) Panorama Dr – Information from CHP – mother and stepfather returned home, unloaded groceries and did not see 39-year-old daughter – stepfather went upstairs to check on her – found her on the floor of her bedroom unresponsive – no injuries seen to her person – deputies located tinfoil with heroin and straw in nightstand drawer

GVL (Assault W/S Injuries) Dahlia Dr –RP calling for his friend who was “beat up” – contacted victim who stated that he was assaulted at about 6:40 p.m. by subject – stated that he told subject to leave residence multiple times – state that they were drunk – stated that subject exited through the front door, but then pushed back in and struck RP in the back of the head – RP then turned to defend himself and was punched by subject and fell to the ground – subject continued to strike RP – RP has visible bruising around both eyes, swelling throughout his face, left eye swollen shut, cuts on left and right cheek bones and a cracked tooth – transported to Mountains Community Hospital for treatment – deputies located subject’s residence and conducted a records check of the vehicles – all belonged to subject – attempted to contact subject at the residence, but no answer – investigation ongoing

RSP (Vandalism) Union 76 gas station – RP was driving down Hwy 330, when the vehicle in front of him applied its brake coming to an immediate stop in the roadway – a white male exited the vehicle and jumped onto RP’s windshield – shattered it – RP recognized subject as his ex-roommate – subject returned to his vehicle and left the incident location

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Ocean View Dr – CHP transfer – RP state he has two warrants – can’t make it to court – wants deputies to pick him up and take care of it – negative weapons in the home – has been drinking – no drugs – suspect was contacted and arrested for his warrants – out of state warrant sent to CDC

CRL (Utilities Theft) Delle Dr – Via surveillance, RP can see neighbor continuing to come onto RP’s property and plug in extension cord to RP’s outlet around 1:00 a.m. – extension cord still currently plugged in – suspect admitted to stealing his neighbor’s electricity for at least three days after deputy found his extension cord plugged into RP’s outlet – arrest made

LAA (Domestic Battery) Rainbow Dr – CHP transfer – RP advising boyfriend hit her in her head – RP and her boyfriend have been in a dating relationship for nine months – RP states she had her head slammed against the wall and she was hit in the stomach – deputy observed no visible marks or bruises on the locations – deputy asked a nearby party if they had seen or heard anything from the incident location – no verbal or physical dispute was observed by any member of the party

TPK (Paraphernalia) Sierra Vista Dr – RP calling back advising his son is back at the residence – is out on the patio going in circle and hitting things – deputy contacted suspect outside of incident location – suspect had a glass pipe with residue – arrest made – suspect was booked at CDC

CPP (Attempt Grand Theft Auto) Mozumdar Dr – At approximately 1:26 a.m., RP heard noise outside his residence – saw two white males in a dark SUV attempting to steal his neighbor’s box trailer – trailer had a wheel lock – only made it approximately 30 feet from owner’s residence – subjects unhooked and left trailer in the roadway before they drove south on Mozumdar and back toward Crest Forest – unable to locate phone number for owner – will follow up – CHP assisted and towed trailer safely back into driveway – owner has possible doorbell camera – area check negative

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Goodwin’s Market – Vehicle stopped – driver was found to have two active warrants – driver cite released

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Tenniel Rd – Female transient in the area – RP says neighbors are trying to walk her out of the neighborhood, but requesting deputy check on subject – she appears to be under the influence – suspect arrested on active warrant out of Alhambra – booked at CDC

RSP (Domestic Battery) Easy St – Victim and suspect were in a dating relationship for two years – suspect stated she and victim broke up two months ago, but still saw each other – suspect was intoxicated and asked victim to leave – suspect hit victim multiple times on the chest and upper back – victim has a small one centimeter laceration on his upper back

CRL (Assault) Lake Dr – RP’s 12-year-old son was at the skate park today – has been having problems with several juveniles – was hit in the forearm with his skateboard by subject – based on previous contacts, subject’s mother is known to live on Short Way – will attempt to contact subject at school tomorrow

CRL (Domestic Battery) Manzanita Dr – Secondhand information – RP says his sister’s boyfriend beat his sister – contacted female outside residence – male gone – female and her boyfriend were both drunk – female stated male slapped and pushed her down before he drove down the hill – contacted subject – stated female hit him multiple times while he tried to leave – he pushed her down to get away from her before he left the residence – brother saw female hitting subject before he left – negative video – female stayed at residence – male stayed in San Bernardino

CRL (Burglary) Zurich Dr – Owner last saw property on 5/16/24 at about 2:00 p.m. – property was in the process of being sold – property inspector came at 10:00 a.m. today and saw the back door forced open – door jamb broken – notified property owner – nothing taken

TPK (Death Investigation) Boulder Ln – 82-year-old male not breathing – pronounced deceased – appeared to be natural causes

LAA (Missing Person) Sugar Pine Dr – Subject was speaking to his mother at the incident location today – was upset about mother hacking his personal information – he was stressed about his credit card debt – at approximately 2:00 p.m., subject left on foot – has not returned since – subject has phone, but won’t answer – subject is not from the mountain – mother does not know where he would go – subject suffers from Bipolar 1, depression and anxiety – deputy completed a teletype for subject as a missing person
