The Mountain Area Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) held its installation dinner at the San Moritz Lodge in Crestline on May 13. The installation dinner has been an annual tradition but had not been held in a few years, said Tracy Gauci, PTA president for Lake Arrowhead Elementary School.

Dustin Warner, who has served as president of the Mountain Area Council of PTAs, recounted some of the achievements of the current year, including the Mountain Health and Resource Fair, which will be held at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School on June 14; a program providing academic courses toward targeted career paths at Rim High School; and the Paint the Plow event at Charles Hoffman Elementary School.
