Celebrating their success on the water

Holly Frank of McKenzie Ski School once again organized a boat parade for Rim High seniors to celebrate their success. On June 2, eight boats pulled up to the docks in Lake Arrowhead Village – some were decorated with balloons, others with sparkly garlands (1,2). Before embarking, the 19 seniors lined up in their gowns – worn over their swimsuits (3). The County Fire boat led the way as the parade began its circuit around Lake Arrowhead. Periodically, the fire boat shot off a stream of water (4), which drew shrieks from the seniors. As the parade neared its end, many of the students doffed their gowns and jumped into the lake.
