2024 Jamboree Days Parade Lineup – “Amazing Mountain Adventures”

  1. Color Guard    Continuing a longstanding tradition, the Star-Spangled Banner leads the 2024 Jamboree Days parade.
  2. Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Post 9624    The all-volunteer Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post 9624, instilling patriotism and pride within our communities.
  3. Optima Health    Jamboree Days is presented by Optima Health, which brings compassionate internal, primary care and family medicine to the Crestline community.
  4. Mountain Fifes & Drums    The Mountain Fifes & Drums teaches music, history, leadership, discipline and responsibility to mountain youth, free since 2001. 
  5. Grand Marshals    Bill and Michelle Johnson of SkyPark at Santa’s Village are the 2024 Grand Marshals, chosen for the way they embody our parade theme of Amazing Mountain Adventures.
  6. Rim of the World Historical Society    Smokey Bear rides in the historic Crestline Bus in honor of his 80th birthday. The Mountain History Museum is throwing Smokey a party on Sunday, August 28, welcoming all to this free celebration! 
  7. Crestline Highlanders    Your home town vintage base ball team is proudly sponsored by the Crestline Chamber of Commerce and RimRec. They are the reigning repeat Southern California champions, co-captained by Joe “Ripper” Billheimer and Chris “Glove Box” Dodd. 
  8. San Bernardino County Fire District    The Pride of Crestline rolls along in Station 25’s classic 1929 Studebaker Fire Engine. Station 25’s modern equipment covers all of Crestline and responded to over 1,400 fire and medical responses in 2023!
  9. Rim of the World Special Athletes    The Rim of the World Special Athletes Foundation offers safe and positive sports activities all year round for adaptive athletes. 
  10. McDonalds    Your local McDonald’s franchisees are proud to support the mountain communities and foster education by awarding more than $20,000 in annual college tuition assistance. We are better together!
  11. Rimforest Animal Hospital    The entry from Rimforest Animal Hospital is led by Merlin (raised in the Serrano High FFA program) and also features Appaloosa’s Little Buck and Sonny, and a quarter-horse named Sugar. Many thanks to handlers Ashlynn, Shauna, Francois and Tabytha!
  12. The E Clampus Vitus Billy Holcomb Chapter    The Billy Holcombe Chapter of E Clampus Vitus was chartered in 1969 and has erected more than 160 commemorative historical plaques and monuments, primarily in historic San Bernardino County.
  13. Moon Bear Heating & Air    Dennis and Eileen Moncrief of Moon Bear Heating & Air are delighted to present their 1941 Ford Coupe Deluxe in the 2024 Jamboree Days parade. 
  14. Goodwin & Sons Market    Goodwin & Sons Market is grateful to be serving the Crestline Community again in our newly renovated store.  They want to thank the community for standing by them during the rebuild and for the past 78 years. Many Goodwin’s staff and Goodwin family members will ride on the float.
  15. Citizen of the Year    The 2024 Crestline Citizen of the Year is Jerry Renfro, lauded by many for his longstanding and dedicated service to his neighborhood and to Crestline at large.   16. Rim Blue Star Moms    Rim Blue Star Moms is the local chapter of the national Blue Star Mothers, patriotic mothers of those serving in the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, Space Force and their associated reserves. Please honor their sacrifice by offering a prayer for them and their families.
  17. Crestline Lions Club    Vision is the mission at the Crestline Lions Club where they help the Kids Sight and Friends in Sight vision programs through their December See’s Candy fundraiser, their Labor Day rummage sale and their November firewood raffle. Thank you, Lions Club!
  18. Brian Gruber and Friends    Bryan is driving his 1950’s Hot Rod, while his friend Doug is in his ’58 Chevy DelRay (delivered two days late for last year’s parade) and another friend Mike is driving his former home (you read that right), a 1961 VW beetle.
  19. Lake Gregory Yacht Club    Lake Gregory Yacht Club is a 20-year member of the Crestline community. Beyond sailing radio-controlled sailboats from the Lake’s south shore parking lot, its members take part in many community and service programs. 
  20. So Cal Mountains Foundation Off-Highway Volunteers    The primary goal of the Off-Highway Volunteers (OHV) is to provide public education to all who visit our beautiful national forest. They donate many hours to monitoring local trails and keeping them open, clean and safe from fire and hazards.
  21. New Breed Martial Arts    The martial arts students marching for this private club located in Twin Peaks are of various ages from across the mountain community are proud of their club and the skills they learn there. Visit them in the Fun Zone after the parade!
  22. Northstar Plumbing, Heating and AC    Northstar Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning is proud to have serviced the mountain communities for many years. They pride themselves on giving the best customer experience and treat all our customers as family. 
  23. Mystwood Gallery    The completely restored vintage 1956 Crestliner from Scott Wilhite and John Williams for Mystwood Gallery is dedicated to the memory of their dear friend and fishing buddy Scotty. Visit the gallery in Crestline’s historic Top Town.
  24. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints    The local Crestline Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites anyone and everyone to seek out service opportunities through JustServe.org, and serve together in our beautiful mountains. Together we can make a difference! 
  25. Mountains Little League    Representing Little League International, Mountains Little League gives children from mountain communities the chance to grow, learn and compete in Americas favorite pastimes – baseball and softball, with programs from T-ball through Juniors ages 3-1/2 to 16! 
  26. VOE Elementary School PTA    Valley of Enchantment Elementary School’s PTA invites you to soar above the clouds and celebrate Crestline’s elementary school! Their float features a majestic rainbow stretching across the sky, symbolizing the diverse and vibrant community of students, teachers and families there.
  27. Lake Arrowhead Communities Republican Women    This Republican Women’s club was first chartered in the mountains in 1960. The club registers voters, provides information and encourages citizens to do our civic duty and get out and vote!
  28. Rim of the World Veterans Outreach    Rim of the World Veterans Outreach provides advocacy and support for mountain veterans. They meet every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm at Mountains Community Hospital.
  29. Crestline Soaring Society    The Soaring Society is Crestline’s local hang gliding and paragliding club, soaring the world famous Crestline ridge since 1983. Take a tandem flight or sign up for lessons and experience the closest thing to birdlike flight there is. 
  30. KOLA 99.9    For over 20 years, KOLA has been playing classic pop hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. A dominant 30,000-watt force in Southern California radio, the station covers the Inland Empire, Orange County, parts of LA and San Diego Counties.
  31. Mark Matejka    Mark is driving a classic 1968 Mercury Cougar, used on screen in the movie From Dusk ’til Dawn.
  32. Allen Mairs    This is the real Willy’s! It’s a 1951 Kaiser Willys 4×4 – the first-ever SUV and built to go anywhere!
  33. Mountain Counseling & Training, Inc    This nonprofit mental health organization serves the needs of youth and families on the mountain. They also have The Therapy Cottage that serves all ages, infants to seniors, with no insurance necessary. They’re here to support! 
  34. Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club    The Crest Forest Senior Citizens’ Club reminds us that whether you like to bike, hike, kayak or just sit on the porch admiring the sunset, there’s always adventure in the mountains and age is no barrier! Come see what they’re up to at their booth in town.
  35. Lake Gregory Community Recreation Company    The Lake Gregory Company is excited to participate in this year’s parade with the theme “Amazing Mountain Adventures.” Celebrate the thrill of adventure and the beauty of nature through their exciting, majestic dragon boat presentation!
  36. Thousand Pines    Since 1939, Thousand Pines Christian Camp has helped people see, know and experience God in our mountains. Their float this year is themed around a children’s summer camp adventure! They offer youth, science and adult retreats for visitors across So Cal. 
  37. Rim Youth Scots Youth Football and Cheer    For over 50 years, Rim Scots Youth Football and Cheer has been the organization for youth tackle football and cheer for the mountain communities. Interested athletes should register today at rimyouthfootball.com.
  38. O’Brien Plumbing    O’Brien Plumbing, family owned and operated, servicing our mountain community for over 30 years. For any plumbing repairs & drain cleaning please call O’Brien Plumbing. They’re here to help!
  39. Rim Search and Rescue    The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Twin Peaks Station, introduces the volunteer members of the Rim of the World Search and Rescue Team, RIMSAR. This team proudly serves the mountain by donating thousands of hours of lifesaving service annually. 
  40. United States Forest Service    San Bernardino National Forest Engine 311 and Patrol 17 invite the public to celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday this year by staying fire safe and keeping landscapes, people and wildlife safe from wildfire.
  41. ArrowHeart Foundation / Arrowhead Credit Union    Arrowhead Credit Union and the ArrowHeart Foundation serve the communities of the Inland Empire and beyond. Visit the “Always Helpful” team. They have the best service and a passion for our community. Become a member today!
  42. Crestline’s Grand Poobah    The 2024 Crestline Grand Poobah Court was backed by the people of Crestline to raise money for our fireworks show! In the three years of Grand Poobah voting, Crestliners have donated over $6,000 to fund the fireworks! Thank you Poobahs and thank you Crestlinians!
  43. Toni’s Kitchen    Toni’s Kitchen Mexican restaurant presents a team of nine dancing horses and a lively Mariachi band to help close out the 2024 Jamboree Days Parade. Local drivers Jason and Catherine Mcleod love this town. Thank you, Tony’s Kitchen! 
  44. Department of Public Works    The San Bernardino County Department of Public Works is delighted to feature a couple pieces of heavy equipment it uses to help keep the mountain communities safe on the road.
