Cindy Gardner (left), a board member of the Ted Roy Foundation, recently presented Marcy Vega, the executive director of the Mountain Communities Boys & Girls Club, with a check for $3,000. Through its Mile High Charity Golf Classic, the Foundation has raised more than $1,348,410 for local charities including Mountains Community Hospital, Rim High scholarships, Rim High sports, the Arrowhead Arts Association, Rim Family Services, Wildhaven, the Mountain Homeless Coalition, the Rim of the World Special Athletes Foundation and Operation Provider, as well as the Boys & Girls Club.
