RIM (Possession Stolen Property) State Hwy 18 – A search warrant was conducted at incident location – during the search, a stolen chainsaw was located – victim was contacted and confirmed it was stolen – items returned to victim – suspect arrested 

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Pioneer Camp Rd/Rocky Dell Dr – On Tuesday, 7/9/24, deputy initiated a traffic stop on an orange Dodge Durango for no license plate – contacted white male adult – records check confirmed that suspect had an active misdemeanor warrant – cited and released in the field – vehicle towed – teletype sent

ARB (Drunk in Public) Hilltop Blvd – On Tuesday, 7/9/24, deputy dispatched to a “man down” call involving a male adult – upon arrival, suspect was evaluated by medical staff, but he denied any medical attention – when deputy contacted suspect, deputy detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from his breath and person – beside suspect was a container of alcohol – during a search incident to arrest, deputy found a brown leather wallet in suspect’s right rear pocket which contained a driver’s license – this license matched a missing wallet reported in a prior call – wallet was taken as evidence – deputy  will follow up on Saturday – when deputy attempted to assist suspect to his feet, he required help to maintain his balance – deputy helped suspect to his feet and escorted him to the back seat of a patrol unit – based on deputy observations, he concluded that suspect was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself – suspect arrested for public intoxication – booked at CDC

LAA (Theft of Gun) E Victoria Ct – On 7/8/24, victim went to friend’s residence – subject removed a black plastic case with a firearm from his vehicle and placed it inside residence due to recent vehicle burglaries in the area – subject left the residence and forgot the case – on 7/9/24, friend noticed the case and moved it to his bedroom – he heard something rattle around inside, opened the case, and saw a black pistol – left the case in bedroom – friend’s cousin came to residence and began arguing over a deal with a mini excavator – felt friend stole from him – cousin grabbed the case and threw it on the bedroom floor, which caused the firearm to fall out – cousin grabbed firearm and left residence – friend reported the incident to the victim who reported the incident to law enforcement – ongoing investigation 

July 10, 2024

CRL (Lost Property) Pioneer Camp Rd – RP went to Goodwin’s on Monday, 7/8/24 and noticed in her wallet that she was missing her Kaiser medical card, driver’s license and ATM card – wanted to report items as lost – wanted documentation for now – she will monitor her bank activity and medical for activity – no other items missing from her wallet/purse – teletype entered for lost property

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – RP is the owner of Toni’s Mexican Restaurant – he recently had an employee who he had to fire – subject attempted to get his job back several times, but RP would not hire him back – subject demanded his final paycheck – was paid on 7/9/24 – while he was at the restaurant getting his check, he made comments to other employees that he was going to come back and steal property – RP requested the incident be documented

CRL (Missing Person) Lake Gregory Dr/Lake Dr – Deputy was flagged down by RP reference her daughter she wanted to report as missing – daughter was accepted into drug rehab, but never checked in – mother concerned for her – had a “gut feeling” something happened – last seen on 7/9//24 with subject who was supposed to drive her to rehab – no means of contact for daughter – no contact information for subject – area check negative

July 11, 2024

TPK (Obscene Phone Calls) State Hwy 189 – RP received numerous phone calls from different numbers – unknown male left a voicemail on RP’s phone – male yelled, cursed and threatened to call the FBI – RP did not recognize the male’s voice – RP has changed her number since the incident

RSP (Possession Danger Drugs) Old City Creek Rd – Vehicle stopped – Nissan Rogue was parked on the wrong side of the road – deputy contacted female driver who was identified – suspect was operating the vehicle without a license – during a vehicle search, deputy located glass pipes with paraphernalia and multiple individual baggies of suspected white powdery substance – suspected methamphetamine – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC on her charges – teletype entered and citation placed inside her property bag at CDC

LAA (P/M/S Danger Weapon) Victoria Ct – Deputies served a search warrant at the incident location – during the search warrant, deputies contacted the homeowner and sole occupant – during the search, deputies located five rifles inside a vehicle registered to homeowner parked on the property, four pistols inside his bedroom, a pair of metal knuckles, high capacity magazines, numerous rounds of live ammunition and body armor – records check showed he was a convicted felon – suspect identified by his driver’s license – suspect was arrested and booked on his charges

LAA (Warrant Arrest) Willow Rd – CHP transfer – RP believes ex-girlfriend got into his residence due to having a set of keys and RP’s $13,000.00 in cash is missing – ex-girlfriend knew where he hid the money – RP stating there is $200.00 in the Jacuzzi at the moment with undergarments that belong to ex in the Jacuzzi – records check on RP revealed a felony warrant out of LA County – suspect was arrested and booked on the warrant at CDC – RP’s residence had items tossed on the floor – suspect said he had about $13,000.00 hidden in a kitchen that was missing

July 12, 2024

TPK (Adult Protective Services) Grandview Rd – Received reports that subject was released from the hospital two days ago – could barely walk – management found him inside his apartment unconscious and naked – deputy contacted subject at his residence – subject was coherent – he knew where he was and recognized law enforcement – he was able to tell the year and current president – his residence was clean and he had food – subject was not wearing pants, but was aware of that – said he removed his pants for comfort – contacted Adult Protective Services for documentation 

TPK (Warrant Arrest) Strawberry Peak Rd – RP can hear screaming coming from neighbor’s residence – unknown weapons – son does drugs – RP requesting to remain anonymous – does not trust son – states she had to put cameras and change lock because of him – records check showed one of the parties had a no bail warrant – suspect was arrested and booked at CDC

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) Lake Gregory Dr/Althorn Ct – Limited report – arrest made

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) S Village Ln – Follow up for destruction of miscellaneous holsters and ammunition 

 July 13, 2024

RSP (Possession Danger Drugs) Union 76 Gas Station – Contacted suspect on a traffic stop in reference to a call for service earlier in the day – suspect admitted to having drugs on his person – methamphetamine was located on his person and in the car – suspect arrested – while enroute to CDC, suspect started to cough – stated he did not feel good – suspect admitted to swallowing half a gram of fentanyl – suspect transported to St. Bernadine’s hospital where he was cite released – admitted into the hospital to be under observation

RSP (Assault) State Hwy 18 – Another camper assaulted RP’s son while attending the camp – assault occurred on Thursday night – camp staff is aware of the incident and had camper expelled from camp – RP wants to make a report with a deputy

July 14, 2024

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – On Sunday, 7/14/24 at approximately 9:30 a.m., deputy conducted a pedestrian check – white male adult spontaneously stated that he was on county probation for burglary – records check confirmed his probation status and revealed a no-bail felony warrant – arrest made – booked at CDC

CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – Vehicle stopped for no front plate – driver was issued a cite – vehicle released to a driver with a valid license

LAA (Assault) John Muir Rd – RP states subject threatened to kill her and threw a plastic cup of juice at her – RP denied medical attention – subject states he was only verbally arguing with RP – RP attempted to get her son to assault him – neighbor states he heard verbal only – did not see subject chase RP – subject did not meet 5150 circumstances 

RSP (Vandalism) Alley Ridge Dr – RP was followed home by suspect – RP was arguing with suspect – during the argument, suspect used a utility knife to cut RP’s mother’s vehicle – RP broke suspect’s mirror in retaliation – suspect fled the location – was later located at his residence – booked at CDC

CRL (Paraphernalia) Pyramid Dr – Suspect was contacted during a domestic battery investigation – found to be in possession of two glass pipes commonly used for the use of methamphetamine – suspect placed under arrest and booked at CDC after a jail check at ARMC – the domestic violence investigation was unfounded 

CRL (Domestic Battery) Lake Dr/Manzanita Dr – RP hears a fight somewhere in the area – male hitting a female and a dog – suspect and victim were arguing when it turned physical – suspect pushed victim several times in the chest and punched her in the face with his fist – suspect and victim have been dating for five years – live together – suspect transported to CDC without incident where he was booked

July 15, 2024

RSP (Death Investigation) Live Oak Dr – 65-year-old female with limited medical history – no trauma or suspicious circumstances – daughter is not present – subject transported

RIM (Possession Danger Drugs) State Hwy 18 – Limited report

TPK (Fraud Use Credit Card) Lake Forest Dr – RP overpaid his escrow account for year 2023 – the mortgage company sent a check on 5/29/24 – someone cashed it on 6/26/24 – RP has not received the check – he was asked by company to report incident

LAA (Conspiracy) Arrowhead Village – RP advising female is inside the stairwell screaming – unknown reason why – on Monday, 7/15/24, responded to shoplifting incident – upon further investigation, it was discovered that subject and her boyfriend had stolen the victim’s backpack, which contained a wallet with credit cards – victim received a notification on his cell phone indicating that his credit card was being used at a local shop – he subsequently located and confronted subject about the unauthorized charges – subject presented a receipt for his purchase, which matched the amount charged to the victim’s credit card – video surveillance footage revealed subject paying for items at the Coach store cash register – according to boyfriend, subject had purchased the luxury items for him – arrest made – subject resides in Desert Hot Springs – her current whereabouts are unknown 

RSP (Death Investigation) Live Oak Dr – Fire requested deputies for CPR in progress – RP heard mom fall and called 9-1-1 – pronounced on scene – nothing suspicious seen at residence – deceased transported
