This weekend head to Running Springs for the annual Mountain Top Days.
The festivities begin on Friday night, Aug. 2, with a parade down Hilltop Boulevard. Those participating will line up on Old City Creek Road at 5:30 p.m. with the parade stepping off at about 6:15.
The fun will continue after the parade with a band playing behind the businesses on Commercial Way.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, the farmers market will take place, as it does every Saturday. In addition, there will be games for children and adults – an egg toss, watermelon eating contest and a bicycle event. And not to be missed is the annual bucket brigade with fierce competition between the Arrowhead Lake and Running Springs Fire Departments.
The farmers market and the games are located at 2645 Whispering Pines Drive in Running Springs.
