CRL (Driving W/SUS/RV License) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – RP requesting phone call from deputy reference the chainsaws belonging to his uncle – uncle wants to Uber to 7-Eleven and meet deputy to recover his stolen property – vehicle stopped for failure to mark materials extending out the back – driver found to have a suspended driver’s license – cited – vehicle towed – teletype sent

RSP (Adult Protective Services) Mountain Oak Dr – Allegations inconclusive – report taken for documentation

LAA (Grand Theft Auto) Lake Arrowhead Village – RP stated he allowed his mother to use his vehicle – mother last saw vehicle on 7/12/24 at 5:00 p.m. – no one other than mom had permission to take vehicle – vehicle locked – keys accounted for – desires prosecution – teletype entered – no suspect leads 

LAA (Found Property) Squirrel Ln – CHP transfer – utility worker found a loaded handgun on the side of the road near their post – did not pick up the gun – deputy located the semi-automatic pistol – will place into found property at Twin Peaks station – placed into evidence – teletype entered for recovered pistol

CRL (Assault W/Weapon) Cresta Dr – On 7/16/24 at around 1:00 p.m., Edison worker was struck on his left side by what was suspected to be an Airsoft rifle pellet – Edison workers said subject was a problem in the past – has been upset when they work near his house – spoke to subject who denied any involvement – victim sustained a quarter-sized welt on his left side near his ribs – negative security video – negative suspects – victim declined medical aid – was transported by Edison to a clinic – area check conducted – spoke to neighbors – no knowledge of the incident or of anyone possessing a BB gun in the area

BLU (Tow Request) Pine Ln – CHP transfer – RP states neighbor parked vehicle in roadway – were arguing – subject and friends were gone on arrival – vehicle was left locked and parked in roadway – vehicle towed

LAA (False Pretense) Cedar Ridge Dr – RP reported his skid loader as stolen – subject rented skid loader from RP, but sent fraudulent payment – subject blocked RP from contact – located skid loader in Santa Clarita – ongoing investigation

CRL (Disturbance) Big Oak Rd – Suspect was intoxicated – challenged his neighbors to fight – suspect fled from deputies – detained – arrested – transported and booked at CDC

LAA (Death Investigation) Bangor Ln – Fire en route for a 44-year-old male who is not breathing – possible overdose – deceased transported

CRL (Death Investigation) Lakeview Dr – 9-1-1 transfer – 94-year-old grandmother found deceased – no trauma

LAA (Tow Authority) Parking Loop/S Peninsula – Vehicle check conducted on vehicle parked in off-street parking facility – found to be expired as of 2020 – vehicle towed 

CRL (Paraphernalia) Pioneer Camp Rd/Straight Way – Pedestrian check – suspect consented to a search of his person – found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe – suspect arrested and booked at CDC

LAA (Driving W/O License) S State Hwy 173/Lakes Edge Rd – Vehicle stopped for registration – driver found to be unlicensed – cited – vehicle towed – teletype entered

LAA (Drug Overdose) Bangor Ln – Subject located deceased by his wife – known to use heroin – possible overdose – no obvious signs of foul play

LAA (Adult Protective Services) Bret Harte Rd – Report taken for documentation

CPP (Warrant Arrest) Lakeland View Dr – Secondhand information from neighbor who used to live near incident location – reporting rape and murder of a female – buried in crawl space under the residence, covered with cement – occurred two months ago – RP saw neighbor digging in back yard for days and digging in the crawl space – contacted RP via phone – RP stated that subject 1 told him that subject 2 had a girl in the crawl space a few months ago and committed rape and murder – deputy contacted subject 1 at location – subject 1 was told by subject 2 four years ago that a subject named Robbie raped a girl in the buildup beneath the house – unknown the girl’s name – unknown Robbie’s last name

CRL (Arson) Lake Dr – Suspect was drinking a tall can outside of B & L Liquor – upon deputy arrival, suspect had fled the scene on foot – during an area check, deputy located suspect outside the smoke shop – deputy identified suspect with driver’s license – suspect was seen on surveillance camera setting branches on fire near the business when told to leave from location – during contact, suspect had a blue torch, which was used during the crime – owner of B & L Liquor positively identified suspect – suspect was transported and booked in WVDC on her charges

CRL (Tow Request) Lake Gregory Dr/Lake Dr – Vehicle stopped for non-functional brake light violation – vehicle registration found to be expired – driver cited – vehicle towed

VOE (Death Investigation) Tetley Dr – 9-1-1 call – daughter calling reference mother who has passed

BLU (Grand Theft) Meadow Brook Rd – RP checked into the Serenity rehab center – his belongings were inventoried and stored by Serenity – RP was checked into Mountains Community Hospital and ARMC during his stay – while at the hospital, another patient checked out of Serenity – took RP’s red suitcase and backpack containing clothes, estimated value is $1,500.00 – subject was taken to the airport – Serenity staff have been unable to contact him – attempted to call – no answer

LAA (Grand Theft Auto Recovery) Cedar Ridge Dr – trailer recovered – teletype sent

CRL (Missing Person) Berne Dr – Limited report

ARB (Keeping of Property) Arrowbear Dr – RP came in today to surrender her Ruger rifle – stated no longer wanted it – requesting deputies take rifle for safekeeping – teletype was sent

BLU (Defraud Inn Keeper) State Hwy 189 – Subjects came to location last night – left without paying for food – total value of the bill is $34.00 – subjects left a Dave and Buster’s gift card and fled the restaurant – victim identified subjects and provided address – ongoing investigation

BLU (Discharge Firearm) Acorn Ln – Ongoing issue with neighbor – neighbor placed cameras facing RP’s parking and residence – on 7/14/24, deputies responded to a shots fired call – video showed a male subject walk on the side of RP’s property and reach toward his waistband – suspect walked out of frame – a puff of smoke showed in the video – suspect walked back to his residence – on 7/18/24, suspect called reference shots fired – deputies showed suspect the video – he admitted the subject in the video was him and he shot a gun into the air – suspect arrested and transported to CDC

CRL (Obscene Phone Calls) Crestline Rd – Deputy spoke with RP who reported an unknown male, named Chad, calling and asking about a female the RP dated a few months ago – during the conversation, Chad stated he knew where the RP lived – listed address – Chad told RP if he did not answer the questions, he would show up at  the RP’s residence and the RP would find out what happens – deputy called the phone number for Chad – spoke with subject who advised he called the RP – subject denied threatening or harassing the RP – denied telling the RP where he lived – subject stated he had questions about the RP and his current girlfriend – RP desired prosecution – report will be send to the DA – RP provided information about the restraining order process

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Valle Dr – RP rented an Airbnb – sister is refusing to leave – deputy contacted suspect inside – suspect was released from a psychiatric hospital one day ago – suspect was fighting with her mother – pulled her mother’s hair during the argument – suspect had an active misdemeanor warrant – arrested and booked at CDC

CRL (Tow Authority) Lake Dr/Forest Shade Rd – Vehicle stopped for registration – vehicle towed – driver returned to requested destination near his residence

LAA (Attempt Burglary) S State Hwy 173/State Hwy 18 – Suspect under the influence of alcohol and asked to leave the parking lot of the Saddleback Inn – after asking suspect to leave, the manger watched suspect walk towards Vanity Vape – manager witnessed suspect kick the door to Vanity Vape two times – suspect contacted by deputies at a nearby business – suspect caused damage to the door jamb – suspect admitted to kicking the door under Miranda – suspect was identified by a prior booking photograph and has been contacted by deputies in the past – arrest made

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Wylerhorn Dr – Occurred last night – RP reported her silver Chrysler LeBaron was stolen from her residence at approximately 2:00 a.m. – did not give anyone permission to take the vehicle – reported her neighbor had seen two individuals with ski masks around the area – teletype entered

CRL (Attempt Assault W/Deadly Weapon) Suspect was under the influence of alcohol – was arguing with his mother and stepfather – suspect slapped victim 1 on her face, knocking her to the ground – took victim 1’s cell phone from her when she tried to call 9-1-1 – suspect then retrieved an approximately 10-inch kitchen knife and chased victim 1 through the house trying to stab her – telling her he was going to kill her – suspect then chased victim 2 with the kitchen knife – stabbed the bathroom door several times, eventually putting a large hole in the door and knocking it off the hinges – once into the bathroom, suspect dropped the knife and waited for deputies to arrive – suspect identified himself by name and date of birth – arrest made

SIL (Domestic Battery) N State Hwy 138/Sawpit Canyon – On Saturday, 7/20/24, suspect and the victim argued over suspect starring at another female – during the argument, suspect hit the victim on her right shoulder – in shock over being hit, the victim hit suspect on his right ear – suspect retaliated and hit victim on the right side of her face – the two continued to argue until law enforcement arrived – arrest made

RIM (False Imprison) State Hwy 18 – Victim and suspect were in a dating relationship for seven years – broke up two weeks ago – victim and suspect were in an argument while on Hwy 18 heading to Rimforest – victim stated suspect grabbed her face and left superficial laceration on her cheek – suspect also took the shifter knob several times when they stopped in two different turn outs – suspect stated he took the knob because it’s his and he did not want victim to drive off without him – victim stated she wanted to leave suspect behind, but was unable due to the shifter knob missing – suspect was booked at CDC

LAA (Vandalism) Arrowhead Marina – On Saturday, 7/20/24 at approximately 12:00 p.m., RP arrived at her boat dock – RP noticed a rip in her green tarp – RP visits her dock weekly – did not observe any damage during her last visit – there was no video surveillance of the incident – RP estimated repair to be approximately $2,300.00

LAA (Possession Danger Drugs) Stater Bros – Limited report – arrest made 

July 21, 2024

CED (Found Property) Pine Dr – Two nights ago, RP’s vehicle was broken into – unknown point of entry – RP did not report due to nothing appeared to be missing – RP located a cell phone in vehicle belonging to suspected subject – unable to confirm who owns the phone – will be placed into found property

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Forest Shade Rd – Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a gray Nissan Pathfinder due to plate violation – upon approaching the vehicle, driver was informed of reason for stop and asked for identification – driver provided driver’s license – a records check revealed the suspect had a misdemeanor warrant – due to extensive medical history, suspect was cited and released in the field for the warrant – suspect was informed about the violation

VOE (Warrant Arrest) Waters Dr – Contacted suspect who appeared to be under the influence of drugs – suspect admitted she had a methamphetamine pipe in her bag – she also had white crystalline substance which appeared to be meth – she was booked at CDC – suspect 2 was loitering in front of the Magic 7 – he was found to have multiple warrants – he was arrested and booked at CDC

July 22, 2024

CRL (Under Influence Drugs) Lake Dr/Wildrose Ln – Contacted subject during a pedestrian check – subject showed signs and symptoms of being under influence of a controlled substance

LAA (Vandalism) Heliotrope Dr – RP participated in Lake Arrowhead’s Pride boat parade – per video surveillance, on 6/30/24 at 4:00 a.m., a male entered onto RP’s private dock and vandalized all the flags on the boat from the parade – caused $1,000.00 worth of damage – subject then noticed a Ring camera at the top corner of the dock house – subject removed and stole Ring camera – RP will send video surveillance to deputy’s email to be uploaded to database

CRL (Miscellaneous Incident) Playground Dr/Summit Dr – RP can see a paraglider wings in the bushes – cannot see a person – red and white parachute located on the side of the mountain – 40King flew over – unable to locate anyone near the chute – was unable to see due to heavy vegetation – 40King landed on paraglider landing zone – made contact with subject 1 who stated an unknown subject 2 crashed his glider two days ago, but made it out and would return for his glider at a later date – unable to contact subject 2
