RSP (Warrant Arrest) Running Springs Café – CHP transfer – white male adult came into location asking for help – states he and another male outside are having issues – states other male has been chasing him around town – unknown issue – black male adult is sitting on bench in front of location – subject 2 was accusing subject 1 of trying to touch him sexually – negative weapons seen – suspect was booked for his two felony warrants – transported to CDC

LAA (Adult Protective Services) Peninsula Dr – Allegations inconclusive – subject at ARMC receiving treatment

TPK (Domestic Battery) Rose Ln – CHP transfer – suspect and victim were in a dating relationship for seven months – broke up two weeks ago – suspect went to the residence, hooked up a trailer to his truck and attempted to drive away – victim walked outside and pushed on the trailer to detach it, then attempted to open suspect’s truck door – suspect pushed victim, got out of his vehicle and grappled with victim on the ground – victim had multiple red marks and an abrasion – suspect denied any type of physical altercation – arrest made – suspect was transported and booked into CDC

LAA (Found Property) Squirrel Ln – CHP transfer – utility worker found a loaded handgun on the side of the road near their post – did not pick up the gun – deputy located the semi-automatic pistol – will place into found property at Twin Peaks station – placed into evidence – teletype entered for recovered pistol

VOE (Adult Protective Services) Byron Rd – No answer at door or phone – pending additional follow up

CRL (Grand Theft) Bernard Dr – Sometime in the last two weeks, RP’s e-bike was taken from their garage – Heybike Explore valued at $2,000.00 – no investigative leads – teletype entered

RSP (Adult Protective Services) Pinehurst Dr – Subject at hospital

CRL (Possession Danger Drugs) Lake Dr/Lake Gregory Dr – Vehicle stopped for various violations – driver cited for driving without a license – passenger found to be in possession of narcotics – passenger cited and released – vehicle towed

CRL (Shoplifting) Lake Dr – Suspect walked into Goodwin’s – stole a $3,000 bottle of Seagram’s whiskey – left the store without paying – deputy located suspect crossing Lake Dr at Forest Shade Rd – deputy reviewed video surveillance and cell phone video from witnesses – positively identified suspect as the subject who stole the bottle

BLU (Driving W/O License) North Bay Rd/Little Bear Rd – Vehicle stopped – driver stated he did not have a driver’s license – records check was unable to locate – driver cited – driver’s friend has valid license – drove the vehicle from the scene

LAA (Domestic Battery) Matterhorn Dr – subject 1 and subject 2 have been married for 30 years – while at their vacation residence, they began arguing over work issues – during the argument, subject 2 slapped the subject 1 with an open hand across the left side of her face – subject 1 denied medical attention – upon deputy arrival, subject 2 was gone – spoke with subject 2 via phone who stated the fight started over the victim’s drinking – during the argument, subject 1 hit him in the head with a heavy glass and punched him – subject 2 pushed subject 1 away and defended himself – left to an unknown location – would not agree to meet with deputies

CRL (Death Investigation) Inspiration Rd – Natural home death

SIL (Lost Property) Silverwood Lake – RP stated he was at Silverwood Country Store on 7/20/24 at 9:00 a.m. – remembers seeing his wallet – on 7/21/24 at about 2:00 p.m., he noticed it missing – wallet had CCW, driver’s license, credit cards, license for work and about $1,000.00 in cash – teletype entered

RSP (Possession Control Substance) State Hwy 330/State Hwy 18 – Information from CHP officer that was flagged down – will be at the shooting range – was told there is a subject who is not supposed to be there – then was advised there is a vehicle parked in the turnout with a party slumped over the wheel – deputy contacted suspect while he was asleep in the driver’s seat of his vehicle parked at the incident location – suspect found to be in possession of methamphetamine – arrest made – deputy booked suspect at CDC

CRL (Death Investigation) Inspiration Rd – Subject checked on her father – not breathing – she contacted her brother who called 9-1-1 – no sign of foul play

LAA (Shoplifting) Stater Bros – On 7/25/24 between 8:11 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., two unknown subjects entered Stater Bros market, grabbed two red shopping baskets and walked around the store shopping – they accumulated approximately $100.00 to $150.00 worth of groceries and exited the store without paying – employees followed the subjects to their vehicle – female told employee “no” she was not paying and “go ahead, put me on Facebook” – area check negative for vehicle

LAA (Warrant Arrest) State Hwy 18 – Observed parked vehicle on south shoulder of Hwy 18 in front of no parking sign – contacted suspect sitting on rock south of the vehicle – deputy recognized suspect from previous call – known to have active misdemeanor warrant – suspect arrested – vehicle towed – attempted to call registered owner multiple times with no answer – teletype entered – suspect’s vape pen and picket knife will be booked as safekeeping

TPK (Vehicle Burglary) Grandview Rd – Between 11:00 p.m. on 7/25/24 and time of call, unknown subject(s) stole six, 500 feet copper bonding wire rolls – worth approximately $230.00 each – RP contacting their purchasing to get their price for the report – no other tools were stolen – the locks and truck cabinets were unlocked with a key – no forced entry – camera system is a rotating camera – did not catch any vehicle or persons, but noticed the side gate opened at 1:21 a.m. on 7/26/24 – no suspect leads at this time

TPK (Grand Theft) Twin Peaks Station – Between 7/25/24 at 4:00 p.m. and 7/26/24 at 7:00 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole RP’s generator from his residence – residence is currently being built, has no fence and is easily accessible from the street – generator was left outside – Genmax tri-fuel inverter generator – no serial number available – valued at around $2,500.00 – neighbor did have video of vehicle in the area earlier this morning around 4:00 a.m. – no additional items taken – RP will email specs of generator when available

VOE (Vehicle Burglary) N State Hwy 138/Vista Ln – CHP transfer – at approximately 11:46 a.m., subject went hiking at the incident location – when the victim returned to her vehicle at approximately 1:30 p.m., she noticed her front driver’s side window broken – unknown subject(s) entered the vehicle by reaching through the driver’s side window – subject(s) opened the center console and rummaged through the items – the victim was unsure if anything was stolen – victim estimated the cost to repair the damage to be $500.00 – unable to locate any video surveillance on scene

BLU (Paraphernalia) Daley Canyon/ State Hwy 18 – Suspect observed riding his bike at night with no lights – suspect saw deputy and threw a glass pipe, commonly used to ingest methamphetamine, onto the ground – admitted to using meth earlier in the day, but had none left – issued citation for possession of paraphernalia

GVL (Death Investigation) Canyon Dr – CHP transfer – son left suicide note and told mother not to go upstairs to just call 9-1-1 – 23-year-old found deceased – no illicit drugs were found – family notified

GVL (Death Investigation) Green Valley Lake Rd – Transfer to Fire – reporting someone drowning – 19-year-old male lifeguard performing CPR – no trauma – family notified

CRL (Grand Theft) Springwater Rd – Sometime between Friday, 7/26/24 to Saturday, 7/27/24, unknown subject(s) cut barbed wiring and hopped over the RP’s wall – stole two metal scaffolding walk boards (24 feet long) and an aluminum ladder – total value estimated at $1,150.00

CRL (Vandalism) Faulhorn Dr – Ex-husband punched the victim’s windshield causing it to crack – victim desired report – due to subject’s medical issues, he was released at ARMC to be treated – report will be forwarded to DA’s office

July 28, 2024

CRL (Death Investigation) Manzanita Dr – Decedent has not been seen in over a year – neighbor forced entry – found subject in an apparent state of mummification

LAA (Assault W/Weapon) John Muir Rd – Suspect had a psychotic episode and vandalized his own residence – suspect threw a glass object at the RP’s husband – first object thrown hit a post that was between suspect and the husband – second object missed the husband – suspect retreated into his residence – several other objects were thrown at the residence – RP and her husband desired prosecution – suspect was contacted and arrested

RSP (Grand Theft Auto) Hilltop Blvd/Keller Peak Rd – RP got into an argument with his girlfriend last month – they broke up – subject claims girlfriend called a friend of hers to up to Keller Peak campground to steal subject’s RV – according to subject, girlfriend’s friend took his RV and drove it down to Ontario – refuses to return it – deputy spoke with girlfriend who has text messages from friend telling her to have someone pick it up and he did not want it anymore – report taken for documentation – teletype sent for stolen vehicle

July 29, 2024

CRL (Vehicle Burglary) State Hwy 18/Mormon Monument Rd – Sometime over the weekend, unknown subject(s) entered a locked vehicle and stole several items, including a backup camera system – RP will provide a cost and list of stolen items – a debit card was located at scene – unknown if debit card belongs to suspect

LAA (Assault) State Hwy 18 – CHP transfer – campsite – 18-year-old RP – states his father and brothers were beating RP with their fists – no weapons involved – negative medical – RP states eye is swollen and lips busted – ongoing family issues between father and sons – victim had attitude towards dad, which brothers did not like – a fist fight occurred – victim desired prosecution for assault – father was gone on deputy arrival – brothers were interviewed – victim dropped off at Starbucks

BLU (Petty Theft) Dogwood Campground Rd/Daley Canyon – RP calling from Simi Valley advising his red GT BMX bike was stolen while camping at Dogwood – states while at location he noticed a deputy drive by a couple of times, so RP is wondering if someone saw something or if someone else reported their bike stolen as well – no leads – teletype sent
