The Crestline Lions Club has joined with the Crest Forest Senior Citizens Club to host Bingo at Leisure Shores on Friday night, Sept. 6, with games beginning at 6 p.m. They hope to be able to repeat this event monthly on the first Friday of each month, if enough people are interested.
Past Lions President Catherine Johnson said, “Let the games begin, since the people want Bingo, the Crestline Lions Club will make it happen.”
The bingo buy-in is $25 for 10 games. There are three cards on each page per game and 10 pages per packet. Each player gets two packets each for their buy in, so they will be playing six cards per game. Additional packets of 10 pages each are $10. There will be other ways to win as well, through a 50/50 drawing and a Powerball drawing. Dobbers are $2 if you need one. The cash value of winning each bingo game is determined by the number of players at 6 p.m.
There will be food for sale at the snack bar beginning at 5 p.m. offering hot dogs with choices of chili or nacho cheese toppings along with the regular fixings, nacho chips, nuts, candy and sodas. These games are cash games, meaning all purchases are in cash and prizes are paid out in cash.
Since Bingo is a game of chance with cash payouts, only those over the age of 18 will be able to play; those who look to be younger than 30 may be asked to show proof of age.
Leisure Shores is located on the east shore of Lake Gregory at 24658 San Moritz Drive.
