Labor Day weekend on the mountain means just one thing to many people – the annual Country Faire at the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church.
The 42nd annual fair will take place on Friday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Folks have been known to start lining up as early as 7:30 on Friday morning!
Famous for its great bargains, the fair includes linens, books, tools, holiday décor, housewares, furniture, sporting goods, antiques, garden items and clothing for men, women, children and youth.
Not to be missed is the bake sale. And then there’s the barbecue lunch, available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. both days.
Proceeds from the Country Faire are used by the church to support their outreach into the community.
The church is located at 351 Highway 173, just outside Lake Arrowhead Village. There is plenty of free parking!
