Some 900 tickets were purchased in advance of the event, while about 100 more were bought at the door on Saturday. Event sponsors said this year’s record-breaking 1,000 participants were about double the number that showed up at last year’s Brewfest, which was staged at Tavern Bay Beach Club – this despite the Line Fire which was causing smoky, ashy conditions on the mountain.

First-time participants Martin and Savanah from Victorville spoke highly of the Dragon’s Blood Cider from Relentless Brewery out of Temecula.
Some 27 breweries and wineries from all over Southern California offered their very best artisan, craft and commercial brews for ticketholders, including favorites such as High Desert Homebrewers, Brewluminati, Brew Knights, Mash Masters Brew Club, Maltose Falcons, Horse Thief Brewers Association, Bottlelogic Brewing, Euryale Brewing, Tap Room Beer Co., La Quinta Brewing, Relentless Brewing, Campsite Brewing, Enegren Brewing, Beachwood Brewing, Hanger 24, Malibu Brewing and Inland Empire Brewing.
