The Line Fire has caused many events on the mountain to either be canceled or postponed. Here’s a list of those we are aware of as of Monday, Sept. 16:

Rim of the World Unified School District schools will remain closed at least through Sept. 20.

Oktoberfest in Lake Arrowhead Village was canceled on Sept. 14 and 15.

• The AAA Fall Festival concert set for Sept. 15 was postponed; no new date has been announced yet.

• The Water Lantern Festival at Lake Gregory, which was to have taken place on Sept. 13 and 14, was postponed until spring.

The date for Bibs & Bids – the Lobsters at the Lake and auction Rotary event – has been changed from Sept. 22 to Oct. 26. Visit www.crestlinerotary.com for tickets; tickets that were already purchased will be honored on the new date.

• The Rim Family Services gala, scheduled for Sept. 28, has been postponed; new date to be announced.

• Sunday Funday at Lake Gregory on Sept. 15 was canceled.

The Celebrity and History tour on the Arrowhead Queen was canceled, as was the tunnel tour. The Mountain History Museum was closed on the weekend of Sept. 13 to 15.

• Because the San Bernardino National Forest is closed through Nov. 30, the Pine Cone Festival has been canceled.

• Because SkyPark was closed, there was no Tunes in the Trees concert on Sept. 13.

• The farmers market in Running Springs did not take place on Sept. 14.

• Two events scheduled at Heaps Peak Arboretum on Sept. 14 were canceled: guided nature walk and a children’s nature-focused craft and activity.

• And the events scheduled at Heaps Peak Arboretum on Sept. 21 were also canceled: introduction to composting and a children’s nature-focused craft and activity.

• The open mic night scheduled for Sept. 20 at the Lake Arrowhead Community Presbyterian Church has been postponed; no new date has been set yet.

• The grand opening of Grocery Outlet in Blue Jay, set for Sept. 19, has been postponed; no new date has been set yet.
