The third annual Havenwood Harvest Festival was a success! Patrons of all ages were enjoying the day, starting off the fall season with live music, activities and, of course, a pumpkin patch. The weather might be warm, but autumn is in full swing at Havenwood.
Those who are brave can experience the spooky maze through Halloween.
Alicyn Packard started off the event singing for guests; she included covers and original songs in her set list. Later in the day, Mark Segal, Jimmy Reid and Deacon Dimes graced attendees with their music.
Patrons gathered in the beer and wine garden to enjoy the music, drinks and food from Buddy’s BBQ and Roll Me Up cinnamon rolls.
The artisan booths were a hit with the crowd. Becky Morgan, the owner of Havenwood, said she was excited to give locals a place to feature their creations and gathered a wide range of goods for patrons to peruse. She was most enthusiastic about showcasing young locals like Photography by Avery, a local high school student offering photography work. Shoppers were in high spirits as they wandered through the vendor tents, eyeing baked goods from Oak Leaf Bakery and handmade stained-glass pieces from Rockin Glass. Sew What displayed beautiful macrame art. Sterling Feather Studio from Crestline was set up with handmade jewelry and the option for permanent bracelets. Wears the Mountain and Reimagined by Robin featured locally made and inspired apparel. Juniper Candle Co. was on theme with fall scented candles. Vendors and patrons alike were delighted to be part of the Harvest Festival.
Younger attendees were enjoying the spooky maze, set up in the garden, with lots of fun Halloween décor. Folks enjoyed taking photos and picking the perfect pumpkin in the pumpkin patch, which had all the fall spirit one could hope for. Pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and colors were artfully arranged around the venue, ready to be bought and carved.
The Harvest Festival was a beautiful event put on by Becky Morgan and Rob Lewbel at Havenwood, where patrons enjoyed a fun-filled fall day. For those who couldn’t make it, the pumpkin patch and spooky maze will be open through Oct. 31, every day the retail shop is open: Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Keep an eye out on Havenwood’s social media for an upcoming fall workshop schedule.
