Bird species of San Bernardino Mountains display.

Heaps Peak Arboretum is known for offering a curated collection of educational materials about the San Bernardino Mountains which includes books, pamphlets and posters. Favorites amongst Arboretum visitors are posters of the animals and plants of the San Bernardino Mountains.

Now a third poster is available – Birds of the San Bernardino Mountains. This new poster features beautiful photographs of over 50 birds found here in the mountains.

Rim of the World Interpretive Association along with Heaps Peak Arboretum is proud to present this poster and the many local photographers who contributed to it in an unveiling celebration on Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. This party is open to the public.

Come meet the photographers and learn about the birds. The event is hosted by Jim Stone, local birder and one of the Arboretum’s summer bird walk leaders. Refreshments will be provided.

The Arboretum is located at 29358 Highway 18 in Skyforest. For more information on the Arboretum, visit www.hparboretum.com.
