Mountain Provisions Cooperative invites the community to its Fall Fest, taking place this Saturday, Oct. 26, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Twin Peaks Community Center. This event, presented in partnership with Rim of the World Recreation and Park District, promises a day filled with family-friendly fun, music, a pumpkin patch, curated vendors, arts, crafts and much more.
Among the activities are:
• Pet costume contest and parade: Get your furry friends dressed up and join the pet costume contest and parade at 2:00 pm., hosted by Janeva Zentz of First Dibs Comedy. Prizes for the “Best Dressed” pets will be provided by Luna Pet Spaw.
• Arts & crafts: Explore your creative side with an assortment of arts and crafts activities available for all ages, providing an opportunity to express your artistic talents.
• Pumpkin patch: Pick and paint a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch.
• Family fun: Keep the kids entertained with face painting, ensuring smiles and laughter throughout the day.
• Food trucks: Satisfy your taste buds with delicious treats from a variety of food trucks offering a diverse selection of culinary delights.
• Curated artist vendor marketplace: Explore a marketplace featuring an eclectic mix of local artists and vendors, including WildFire Apothecary, Ruya Mountain Teas, Flame and Florals, Lady Stardust Vintage, local fiber artist Munir Jones and the Flying Squirrel Market.
• Tasty treats: Indulge in cider, donuts, coffee and tea available for sale, satisfying your cravings with delightful flavors.
• Dia de los Muertos ofrenda art installation: The ofrenda art installation by Jessica Bazan will pay tribute to Lauri Carleton and other community members who hold a special place in our hearts.
Mountain Provisions Cooperative Fall Fest is an event for the entire community to come together, enjoy the changing season, and appreciate the local talent and businesses in the area.
