Spuds and sundaes – a perfect dinner

Oct 22, 2024 | Communities, Rimforest

Community gathering with people dining together indoors.

The Crest Forest Senior Citizens Club hosted its annual Stuff Your Spud fundraiser at Leisure Shores on Oct. 17. Folks stuffed their baked potatoes with a variety of toppings: chili, cheese, chives, salsa, butter, bacon bits, sour cream, cheese sauce, peas and more. The dining room was full of happy folks, many of whom saved room for a sundae to top off the meal. They had a choice of vanilla or cookies and cream ice cream, topped with chocolate, caramel or strawberry syrup; nuts; sprinkles; and whipped cream.
