On New Year’s Eve, most bars in each community will be having special drinks at midnight and many will have entertainment.
Here are some of the places that are promoting their great parties this year.
The Rim of the World Sports Bar in Top Town Crestline has a local popular band playing. The Sawpit Canyon Band with Ty Lasher begins at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge. Their TV screens will be showing celebrations from around the world and ball drops.
At the Tudor House in Arrowhead Villas, come ring in the New Year with local favorite band Rachel in the Weeds with guest singers interspersed throughout the evening. There will be hourly ball drops with champagne toasts. Admission $85. The guest performers are Diandra Griego singing the Motels version of “Only the Lonely”; Crystal Lynn and Rachel Murray will sing “I Think You Oughta Try Whiskey.” Amber and Jason Toscano will sing Fleetwood Mac’s song “The Chain.” Ten-year-old Amelia Jones is singing Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” Dana Merola will belt out Heart’s song “Alone” while Bethany Evans will sing both Gotye’s “Somebody that I Used to Know” and “Too Sweet,” the Hozier version. There will be entertainment all evening long with Rachel and her rocking band. (www.TudorHouseEntertainment.com)
