Deputies respond to suspicious person call – Locate man in possession of narcotics and knife
On Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, deputies from Twin Peaks Station received a call for service about a suspicious subject walking around residences in the 1200 block of Aleutian Drive, in the Lake Arrowhead community. As deputies searched the area, they located a subject who matched the description of the subject seen walking in the area.
Ismael Hinojosa, 34 of Lake Arrowhead, was contacted and found to be on post-release community supervision through the California Department of Corrections. Hinojosa was detained and, when searched, was found in possession of a fixed-bladed knife and illegal narcotics.
Hinojosa was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for PC 21310 (carrying a concealed dirk or dagger), PC 11395 (treatment-mandated felony) and PC 3454 (post-release community supervision violation).
Big Bear resident arrested for possession of methamphetamine
On Jan. 6, 2025, at approximately 9:52 a.m., deputies conducted a probation compliance check at the residence of Jason Crepeau, a 44-year-old resident of Big Bear City.
Deputies found Crepeau to be in possession of methamphetamine. Crepeau was arrested and charged with possession of illegal narcotics and possession of narcotics with two prior drug-related convictions. Crepeau was booked into custody at the West Valley Detention Center.

Highland man found with suspected methamphetamine
On Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at about 4:20 p.m., deputies from the Highland police station conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2000 BMW 540I, which traveled at approximately 55 miles per hour in the area of Baseline Street and McKinley Avenue. The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was identified as Robert Harvey Treadway, 44 of Highland. Treadway was found to be an unlicensed driver.
Treadway was detained and two clear plastic baggies containing a white crystaline substance, consistent with methamphetamine, was located in his vehicle. A records check revealed Treadway had prior convictions for possession of controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale. Treadway was arrested for the above charge HS 11395 (possession of controlled substance with two or more prior convictions) and booked at Central Detention Center.
Man arrested on numerous drugs and weapons charges
On Dec. 20, 2024, at approximately 1:45 p.m., deputies from the Big Bear Station executed a search warrant at the residence of Christopher Hart in the 9300 block of Buckhorn Avenue, Hesperia. Deputies found illegal narcotics, scales used for drug sales, seven firearms, two bullet proof vests, several rounds of ammunition and a trailer that was reported as stolen.
Deputies arrested Hart, 44, on seven felony charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, felon in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammunition, felon in possession of body armor, and child abuse with the possibility of great bodily harm. Hart was arrested and booked into custody at the High Desert Detention Center.
