On Wednesday, Jan. 15, members of the local Knights of Columbus presented Melissa Lloyd, assistant director of Camp Paivika, with a check for $2,500. The money was raised through the Knights’ sale of Tootsie Rolls. Pictured with Lloyd are Dave Golder, Randy Hartman, Paul LeBarrere, Brian Good and Frank Hoeschler. Knights will be jumping into Lake Arrowhead as part of the PolaRotary Bear Plunge on Feb. 1. They are seeking donors and additional brave jumpers.
