Learning about ‘Service Above Self’

This year the EarlyAct clubs at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School have expanded to include the first and second grades. On Feb. 3, the second-graders from Mrs. Turner’s class put on their “service” hats and straightened out the lost and found rack (1). They were amazed by all the sweatshirts and jackets they picked up off the floor and hung up – so many they ran out of hangers! The result was a neatly arranged rack (2). They wondered how long it would stay that way! The EarlyAct clubs are sponsored by the Crestline-Lake Gregory Rotary Club.
