Reaching out to help pets

The members of the second-grade EarlyAct Club at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School – members of Melinda Turner’s class – voted to collect pet food as their service project. The students made posters, which they put up around their school, asking their peers to donate food during the month of March. The collected food will be donated to the Mountains’ Humane Society to send home with folks who adopt animals from them.
