Renovation of Village underway

May 14, 2025 | Front Page

Small town square construction site under clear sky

As anyone who has done a renovation on their home knows, the first step is to do some demolition. That process is underway in Lake Arrowhead Village. Several trees have been removed and Center Stage has been demolished. Concerts this summer will take place at the end of the peninsula, adjacent to the lake.

Once demolition has been completed, the renovation will begin. The asphalt in the common area will be replaced with pavers; new landscaping, upgraded lighting and new seating areas will be added. The exteriors of the building will be repaired and restored.

Editor Mary-Justine Lanyon is looking forward to sitting down with Senior Property Manager Rochelle Smotherman to discuss the plans in more detail. The Alpine Mountaineer will bring its readers those details.
