The Tudor House will be filled with musical entertainment on Memorial Day weekend as Mark Lujan Trujillo presents his original show, The Music Never Ends, which is filled with timeless music.
This captivating production weaves together compelling stories through powerful duets and poignant dialogue, acting and dance performances, all unique and entertaining.
This original show features musical hits from icons like Celine Dion, Elton John, Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra.
“The Music Never Ends is a powerhouse musical evening examining relationships, duets and dialogue,” said Trujillo. This new production is an emotional journey through time that tells the stories of love and of life through a powerful series of vignettes.
The second half of the show, entitled “Encore,” is a mini concert featuring local youth, Lexi Lynott and Sevin Gordon. They are, said Trujillo, “a dynamic duo with incomparable talent, worthy of professional shows such as The Voice. At only 16 and 17 years of age, they are this next generation’s megastars with angelic harmonies, setting them apart from the rest.” They will be performing four songs including, “You Are the Only Exception” and the show-stopping “Creep,” by Radiohead.
The multitalented Aiden Lynch, 17, will be appearing in various vignettes. The well-known Dana Merola will be belting out songs with duets from Chicago, Celine Dion’s “The Prayer” and Bette Midler’s “The Rose.”
Trujillo, who wrote and directed this show, will also be singing and acting in a special tribute to Frank Sinatra and will sing a duet with him.
“Showstoppers” are two extremely talented dancing teens who have competed throughout the state in dance competitions and will complete the second act.
The Music Never Ends will be performed on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24 with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the show at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 25 with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available at www.HeislerTheater.com.
The Tudor House is located at 800 Arrowhead Villa Road, in the Arrowhead Villas section of Lake Arrowhead.
