On Saturday, June 7, members of the Mountain Sunrise Rotary Club donned hardhats and vests and set to work on Highway 173 between Highway 18 and Lake Arrowhead Village. Their mission: Picking up trash they found in the turnouts. Desma Nikas (1), the co-coordinator of the workday, was all smiles as she hunted for trash. Priscilla Williams and Cynthia Siemens Willman (2) showed off their prowess with the pickers. The crew even found a kitchen sink! At the end of their workday, the Rotarians saluted the world.
