The Arrowhead Lake Association (ALA) invites members and local residents to attend the Lake Valve Project Open House and Alternatives Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Burnt Mill Beach Club clubhouse, located at 27910 Lakes Edge Road in Lake Arrowhead.

This informational meeting aims to update the community on the ongoing lake valve project, including a general status update and an overview of Schnabel Engineering’s involvement in developing and evaluating outlet works replacement design alternatives.

The session will provide valuable insight into the work being done to ensure the continued safety, reliability and performance of Lake Arrowhead’s outlet infrastructure as required by the California Division of Safety of Dams.

The meeting will be chaired by David Dahl, with committee members Catherine Cerri, Jim Grant Sr., Shawn Hagerty, Alan Kaitz and Jack Stussi in attendance. Members of the ALA board – including Bud Macer, Marilyn Dishell, Jim Hannon, Eran Heissler, Kelly Wallace and Justin Frank – are also expected to participate. Schnabel Engineering’s project management team will also be in attendance.

Resource persons for the meeting include Mike Pate, James Bellis and Chandra Olivas, who will provide technical and administrative support.

Community engagement is a key part of the lake valve project’s planning process; ALA encourages members and residents to attend, ask questions and stay informed about this important infrastructure initiative.
