Halloween came early to Crestline

On Saturday, Oct. 25, merchants in downtown Crestline and Top Town welcomed children to their shops to trick or treat. The merchants lured hundreds of children to the sidewalks along Lake Drive. Children lined up at the Crestline Cafe for sweet treats and appreciated the generosity of Hearts & Lives. At Lake Mud Pottery there was an abundant supply of candy for Penelope (4) and other trick or treaters. And, at Encompass Antiques, children were pleased to get rose quartz stones instead of candy from proprietor Louis Boehle, president of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce.
