Crafternoon: A monthly creative get-together

Dec 31, 2025 | Arts & Culture, Crestline, Mountain Events

The Crest Forest Senior Citizens Club is introducing Crafternoon – a time for members to create something while socializing with friends.

The first meeting will be on Friday, Jan. 2, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Leisure Shores clubhouse. They will continue to meet on the first Friday of every month thereafter, hosted by Megan Miller.

The January craft will be “vision boards.” A vision board is a collage of images and words that represent a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as an inspiration or motivation.

The club will provide poster boards, glue and some magazines and embellishments. Participants should feel free to bring their own magazines, embellishments and a potluck snack to share. Any photos for the vision boards should be copies, not originals.

January’s session is free; however, there may be a small fee to cover supplies in future sessions.

Anyone who prefers not to participate in the craft is welcome to come and hang out while they knit, crochet or work on any other project.

Leisure Shores is located at 24658 San Moritz Drive, on the shores of Lake Gregory in Crestline.

For information on club membership, contact office administrator Tamara Bellamy at (909) 338-5036 or cfscc.office@gmail.com.
