Mountains Community Hospital’s Rural Health Clinic has received a 5-Star patient experience rating through the National Rural Rating System, based on patient feedback and established evaluation criteria.
While the clinic is honored by the recognition, leadership and staff view the rating not as a finish line, but as motivation to continue strengthening the care experience for the community.
The 5-Star rating reflects patient survey responses related to access to care, communication, responsiveness and care coordination. Clinic leaders say the results are encouraging while also reinforcing the importance of ongoing listening, learning, and improvement.
“We’re grateful to our patients for sharing their experiences with us,” said Lauren Corea, manager of the Rural Health Clinic. “This recognition shows we’re on the right path, but it also reminds us to stay focused on where we can continue to grow. Our goal is always to better serve our community.”
The Rural Health Clinic uses patient feedback to guide ongoing improvements in how care is delivered, with a focus on strengthening communication, access and the overall patient experience. This work reflects the clinic’s commitment to transparency, accountability and providing compassionate, high-quality care to the mountain community.
