On Friday, Feb. 13, a Mountain Transit bus will be parked at Goodwin & Sons Market in Crestline just waiting for folks to fill it with items needed by local veterans.
The following new items are being collected from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
- Warm socks
- Blankets
- Gloves and beanies
- Warm jackets and sweaters
- Non-perishable food (canned goods, tuna, soup, pasta, rice, protein bars)
- Hygiene kits (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant)
- Pet food for dogs or cats
