Fill the bus…

…and help support mountain veterans.

On Friday, Feb. 13, a Mountain Transit bus will be parked at Goodwin & Sons Market in Crestline just waiting for folks to fill it with items needed by local veterans.

The following new items are being collected from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

  • Warm socks
  • Blankets
  • Gloves and beanies
  • Warm jackets and sweaters
  • Non-perishable food (canned goods, tuna, soup, pasta, rice, protein bars)
  • Hygiene kits (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant)
  • Pet food for dogs or cats
