Special Olympics Rim of the World athletes hit the court on Saturday, Jan. 31 at The Rinks in Irvine for the Orange County regional floorball competition. They gave it their all while families, fans and supporters packed the bleachers to cheer on every goal and great play.
Floorball has similarities to hockey without the ice. It is played with sticks and a lightweight ball with high-intensity action – very fast without a second to spare.
The athletes played as a team and brought home the silver.
