On Jan. 30, 100 students from Rim of the World High School joined a nationwide protest against recent deaths that resulted from immigration enforcement. Students across the country have reported stress and fear seeing families, friends and neighborhoods terrorized by ICE raids. Walking out of class was a “real life civics lesson” where their voices could be heard in a nonviolent way.
