On Saturday, March 14, members of the Mountain Fifes & Drums will march around Lake Arrowhead Village, performing 18th-century Colonial tunes. The purpose of their three-mile march is to raise funds for their trip to Colonial Williamsburg in May.

The Fifes & Drums have been invited by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation to perform at the 21st Drummer’s Call – an invitation-only national gathering of the country’s most authentic fifes and drum corps.

This event coincides with America’s 250th anniversary, making the opportunity to perform in Williamsburg, the heart of our nation’s living history, especially meaningful.

The march-a-thon will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Come listen, cheer the musicians on and help them answer the call.

Donations to help fund the trip to Colonial Williamsburg may be made at the Fifes & Drums information table by Center Stage during the march-a-thon or online at donorbox.org/colonial-williamsburg-march-a-thon.
