The CSUSB Mt. Scholarship Society has over $1,000,000 in a scholarship endowment designated to assist San Bernardino Mountain residents, who live within the greater Rim of the World School District and plan on attending Cal State University San Bernardino in the 2026-2027 school year. Scholarship applications are now being accepted.
Scholarships are available to new high school graduates as well as any mountain resident wishing to pursue their college education and meets the criteria is eligible.
Scholarship Criteria:
* Scholarships will be awarded to students attending CSUSB.
* Applicants must be residents of the greater Lake Arrowhead mountain communities, encompassed by the Rim of the World Unified School District.
* Scholarships are available to all majors, preference given to education/liberal studies, nursing, or health care related majors.
* Financial need is considered, but not essential
* Students may have full or part-time status as an undergraduate or graduate student.
* Scholarship is renewable if students maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average.
Applications must be received by March 30, 2026 and new applicants must include: Autobiographical Narratives, Letters of Recommendation, and Consent Statements.
Funding for the scholarships is a result of the efforts of Neale and Patricia Perkins, and a dedicated group of volunteers, and many very generous donors.
