Crestline magazine is published each year by the Crestline Chamber of Commerce to promote tourism in the community and to advertise to all where the Crestline businesses are located, and who are their business owners. The magazine traditionally includes mentions of several historical stories and locations of the community and its unique aspects. The magazine will highlight the best of Crestline and things to do while visiting and living in the Crestline area. Fun local places to go, places to see and events to attend during those warm summer days and evenings and the rest of the year will be a highlight of this issue.

The deadline for advertising and articles is approaching this next week. The magazine will be published in time for Memorial Day this year. Author and poet Candace Pearson is the story editor and Crestline Chamber VP Michelle Hake is coordinating the whole project.

Hiking trails around lakes and through forests are popular with residents and visitors alike, and will also warrant mention in the magazine. For example; touring the fire lookout towers is a great free thing to experience, and an easy way to learn about the mountain. The view from the top is amazing. Were you aware on a clear day you can see Catalina Island hundreds of miles away, and 26 miles out in the ocean? On the back side you can see the Sierra Nevadas.

There will be an article on where to stay when you visit the mountain area for a weekend or as a vacation destination of longer duration. Staying the night after a great evening at Corks & Hops is a wonderful way to extend the party and enjoy the event in great leisure, without the worry of driving home that evening. Plus, there will be another spotlight on one more of the special AirBnbs in the area.

The community has many amenities, including boating, kayaking, fishing, and inflatables, plus the events at Lake Gregory Regional Park.

Coverage of events such as annual festivals, the four Corks & Hopsops datesHops dates and Jamboree Days will be included in the magazine. For more details on Jamboree Days, which will have fireworks on Friday night July 3 and a parade and festival on Saturday July 4th, see www.jamboreedays.com.

Crestline will also list the businesses in town that serve the community and help to make it the forward-moving and thriving community that Crestline has become over the past few years. Be sure to pick up your issue of the magazine when it is issued.

After the magazine is published, local residents will have it mailed to their P.O. boxes as in previous years. It will also be available at the Crestline Chamber of Commerce office at 24385 Lake Drive in Crestline for pick up. Many AirBnbs and motels have issues of the magazine from different years for their customers to read, as each magazine has new and different information.

For more information on upcoming activities or to advertise in the magazine, call the Chamber office at (909) 338-2706, or go to the website to reserve an advertising space in the magazine. Check out the events of the Crestline Chamber of Commerce on social media on Facebook, Instagram @crestlinechamber and at their website at www.CrestlineChamber.org.
