The artisans say, ‘Welcome!’

For more than 30 years, the artisans of Green Valley Lake have invited guests to visit them in their studios. There, the guests will discover handcrafted treasures.

These artisan studio tours take place on three weekends a year: Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

This weekend, the studios will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Note: Some artisans are not open on Monday.)

Twelve artisans will be participating this weekend (see the corresponding numbers on the map).

1. Jura Slattery: The Crafty Possums and Thrifty Possum. GVL souvenirs, jewelry, homemade banana bread and dog treats. Thrifted treasures: vintage handbags and more.
2. Mountain Maker. Hand-painted cards, art supplies. Come sit and paint!
3. Cielo Vargas. Cards featuring original watercolor artwork.
4. Little Lodge on Juniper Lane. Original watercolor paintings, crocheted critters, handmade jewelry, freshly baked cookies.
5. ReLove by Rosie. Unique hand-painted upcycled décor, second-hand clothing, housewares.
6. Charlie & Roxy McBitesons – Kari Aceto. Homemade dog treats, caramel-dipped pretzels and sugar cookies for humans.
7. Cozy Creations – Lisa Lequire. Knit and crocheted fluffy stuffies, hats, scarves.
8. Juniper Soy Candles & Xylo Effekt Woodwerks. Handcrafted soy candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays. Handmade leather journals. Live-edge wood items.
9. Luch Mountain 3D Printing. 3D printed trinkets, treasures and toys.
10. Green Valley Design and Falling Leaf Studio. Handmade, useful things for your home. Sterling silver rings, gemstone jewelry.
11. Bread Above the Clouds. Fresh-baked sourdough bread, cookies, scones, coffee cake, pancake mix.
12. Big Pink Cabin. Hand-painted ceramics, beaded jewelry, handmade photo cards, handmade fabric bags and pouches. Kids can make their own beaded bracelets.
