To supporters of our mountain veterans:

For years, VFW Post 9624 has stood as a sanctuary for local veterans, a hub for community service and a place of remembrance. Today we face a critical challenge that threatens our ability to keep our doors open and we need your immediate help.

Our insurance provider recently conducted a mandatory safety inspection of our property. Due to severe wear, cracks and uneven surfaces, our current parking lot has been flagged as a major liability hazard.

To maintain our liability insurance coverage and comply with safety regulations, we are required to completely repave and restore the lot. Without this coverage, our Post cannot legally or safely operate.

This is more than an asphalt project. This parking lot is the very first thing a transitioning service member crosses to find mentorship. It is the walkway our aging veterans depend on for safe mobility. It is the foundation for our community food drives, youth programs and flag retirement ceremonies.

To meet these strict insurance requirements, we must raise $12,228 by July 1, 2026. Every dollar donated to this emergency fundraiser campaign will go directly toward: full excavation and resurfacing of the lot and leveled walkways for disabled veterans.

VFW Post 9624 is a 501(c)(19) nonprofit organization, making your generous contribution fully tax deductible.

We have served our nation and this community unconditionally; now we ask for your support to help us maintain a safe haven for those who wore the uniform. Please consider making a donation today by visiting our post at 21841 Crest Forest Drive, Cedarpines Park, or by contacting Post Commander Darrel R. Artiaga at (909) 855-4717.

Thank you for your enduring patriotism and support of our veterans.
