What is Rotary?

And why should I join?

They are both good questions. You can get answers at our social event on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the upstairs seating area at Goodwin & Son’s Market.

Joining us will be District Governor Richard Lemire. He will share his own Rotary journey and share how you can develop your own.

Our Rotary Club is small but mighty. We collaborate with the Crestline Lions Club on a backpack giveaway the week before Rim classes begin. We sponsor EarlyAct Clubs at Valley of Enchantment Elementary School; like junior Rotary Clubs, these clubs are run by the students who vote on their community service projects. We sponsor the free community Thanksgiving dinner, partnering with several other community organizations. And we put on the community awards banquet in the spring when other nonprofits on the mountain honor their own who have gone above and beyond.

We meet on the first and third Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. at the Crestline Chamber of Commerce office. Want to learn more? Come join us at a meeting – we’d love to have you.
