Crestline’s annual series of Corks & Hops craft beer and wine festivals will kick off this coming Saturday, June 4 and continue monthly on Saturdays, July 9, Aug. 6, Sept. 3, with the final event on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The yearly summertime event, which was on hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVD-19 pandemic, runs from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Sponsored by the Crestline Chamber of Commerce, Corks & Hops is a wine and beer tasting festival featuring craft beers from many Southern California breweries and wine tasting from local and Southland wineries, along with live music, pop-up vendors and food tastings from several local restaurants.

After checking in and purchasing tickets in the event that you hadn’t pre-paid for tickets online, you will be able roam the sidewalks of Crestline’s Lake Gregory business district, stopping at many pouring and tasting stations along the way. But wait, there’s more: At any point along the way, you can board Mountain Transit’s iconic, red trolly, which can take you to Crestline’s historic “Top Town” shopping district, for free. During the ride to Top Town, a docent from the Rim of the World Historical Society will point out locations of historical interest and will be available to answer questions regarding the history of Crestline and other mountain area communities.

The basic ticket, which starts at $35 if purchased in advance, is $45 if purchased on the day of the event and entitles you to 10 beer and wine tastings. The “Ale You Can Get” ticket, which entitles the holder to two extra full-size pours and 10 beer and wine tastings, is available in advance for $50 or $60 if purchased on the day of the event. A VIP ticket, which provides exclusive entrance to the VIP lounge, where appetizers will be provided along with extra tastings and two extra full pours, is also available for $70 in advance and $80 on the day of the event.

Live music and free shuttle service are included with all ticket purchases and all tickets are available in advance by logging onto www.corksnhops.com/#tickets.

Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event at Arrowhead Credit Union at 23971 Lake Drive or at Hearth & Sage General Store located at 23443 Crest Forest Drive in Top Town Crestline. Parking is available throughout Crestline, including at Lake Gregory and California Bank and Trust on Lake Drive.

When picking up your tickets, be sure to pick up a pour station guide to be stamped at each pouring station. If you have eight or more stamps, you can enter the 8 p.m. raffle at the main stage at Arrowhead Credit Union.

Pouring stations will be located at Hearth & Sage, My Favorite Things and The Rustic Cottage, all of which are located in Top Town Crestline; at Three Marm Brewing at Lake Drive and Knapps Cutoff; and at Encompass, Design By Faith, Trinket Trader, The Stockade, Ace Garden Center, Crestline Café and Rim Bowling, all located on Lake Drive. VIP pourings are available at Bizzyland, adjacent to The Stockade. Food tastings will be available at Ace Garden Center, Arrowhead Credit Union, Encompass, Higher Grounds Coffee House on Lake Drive and at the Bear House Family Restaurant in Top Town.
