Crestline is having a spectacular Mardi Gras Corks & Hops winter event at the San Moritz Lodge on Saturday, Feb. 10. The number of tickets for this fun evening of a taste of Louisiana Mardi Gras is limited as this is occurring inside the historic San Moritz Lodge, so the evening event will not be affected by any type of weather.

Songstress Shannon Bizzy entertained the crowd last year with her New Orleans-style tunes.

Tickets are now on sale for $60 at the chamber’s website, www.Corksnhops.com, for a full evening with 16 pour stations, consisting of eight wine and eight beer tasting opportunities and two bands. Shannon Bizzy from Bizzyland, who was featured last summer during the Blue Jay Jazz Festival, will be singing with her New Orleans-style jazz band, which will perform in the main room. Another band, Holy Crow, will be in the bar, also playing Mardi Gras-style music. There will also be a photo booth and amazing magician Zac Swan from the Magic Castle, and much more to entertain the guests that evening.

Chicken Republic is offering Louisiana-inspired foods, including gumbo, jambalaya and much more. There will be select other artisan vendors such as Sterling Feather Studios, Lake Mud Pottery, Evergreen Curated, Woodcrest Décor, Crestline Dreams and others.

Mardi Gras-style costumes, including beads and masks, are encouraged for the attendees to wear. This will add to the authentic Mardi Gras atmosphere feeling of the evening.

The chamber is raffling off merchant gift baskets donated by The Lake Gregory Company, Encompass Antiques and Gifts, Littlebear Bottleshop in Skyforest, Hearth and Sage in Top Town and others.

For those who don’t want to drive home after an evening of partying, there will be a designated driver program where those who are designated can drive their friends home. Those who don’t want to partake in the alcohol of the evening can buy a reduced-price ticket. Also, the local drive companies are offering a discount to those who decide not to drive home after the Mardi Gras Corks & Hops event.

The San Moritz Lodge is located on the east shore of Lake Gregory at 24640 San Moritz Drive in Crestline.

If you have questions, call chamber office manager Tiffany at (909) 338-2706, or stop by the Crestline Chamber office at 24385 Lake Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. any day (except Sunday).
