Dozens of colorful kites took to the sky above the San Moritz meadow on the eastern shore of Lake Gregory on Saturday, May 11, for the second annual Crestline kite festival. Tamara Bellamy flew this colorful kite (1) while this patriotic kite (2) was hoisted aloft by Lake Gregory Company Event Coordinator Michelle Miller (3). While some flew kites, other scouted for eggs (4) containing small toys or candy left over from this year’s Easter egg hunt, canceled due to stormy weather.
