CRL (Commercial Burglary) Lake Dr – Sometime between 5/20/24 at 5:00 p.m. and 5/21/24 at 8:15 a.m., unknown subject(s) broke into California Bank & Trust through a vent behind the building – unknown items were taken – several doors appeared to be forced open causing damage to the door and the threshold – unknown subject(s) entered business when closed – no one had permission to enter business – ongoing investigation

LAA (Search & Rescue) 3N39 Forest Road/3N46 Forest Road – Subjects parked their vehicle near Hwy 173 trailhead at approximately 2:00 p.m. – they both hiked to the hot springs – got lost on the way back to the vehicle – 40King assisted – located both subjects – 40King gave both subjects a ride to meet with deputies nearby – deputy returned both subjects back to their vehicle

CPP (Possession Control Subject) Coyote Trl – RP’s nephew lives at location with RP’s 88-year-old father – RP concerned for father’s safety – nephew possibly high on methamphetamine – deputy made contact with 89-year-old homeowner during a well check – homeowner stated his grandson lives downstairs – believes he’s under the influence of drugs – deputy contacted subject in the downstairs of the residence – while speaking with subject, a meth pipe fell from his sweater – another pipe, suspected meth and needles were observed in plain view of subject’s bedroom – suspect was arrested for drug charges

CRL (Warrant Arrest) Lake Dr/Rocky Dell Dr – Vehicle stopped – suspect found with two misdemeanor warrants – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC – vehicle was released to subject with valid driver’s license

LAA (Assault W/Weapon) Grass Valley Rd – Suspect and the victim have been in a dating relationship for approximately three years – live together – during an argument, suspect strangled the victim to where the victim almost passed out – the victim was afraid and felt suspect was going to kill her as he strangled her – suspect later grabbed a handgun, pressed it against the victim’s throat and threatened to kill her – suspect left the residence in his vehicle with the handgun – suspect’s vehicle was located a short distance from the house where deputies initiated a high-risk traffic stop – suspect was searched incident to arrest – numerous loose 9MM rounds and a loaded magazine were found in his pockets – suspect’s vehicle was searched – a loaded 9MM handgun was found tucked in the pocket behind the passenger seat

VOE (Grand Theft Auto) Spruce Dr – RP was warming up her vehicle in her driveway – she went inside her residence to put her dog away – when the victim came out of her residence, she saw her vehicle driving away – last seen headed on Waters Dr toward Hwy 138 – the victim did not give anyone permission to drive her vehicle – did not owe any fees or have any outstanding debts – flagged down during contact of a male who lives on Fir Ln – stated he let an unknown female, known as “Leslie” with multicolored red hair, who he picked up from San Bernardino, stay at his residence – while he was in the shower, the female stole his laptop and left residence – description matched subject from the vehicle theft – per law enforcement systems, vehicle last seen in Riverside at 7:11 a.m. at Tyler St/Hwy 91

RSP (Death Investigation) Wilderness Rd – 69-year-old subject found deceased in his home – appeared to be natural causes

VOE (Petty Theft) Spruce Dr – Subject 1 invited subject 2 over to his residence – subject 2 stayed for a few hours, then left with his roommate’s laptop – photo lineup administered – subject 1 identified subject 2

TPK (Found Property) Twin Peaks Station – RP found two journals near a ditch by his residence – recovered the journals and found personal information inside – RP believed the journals were possibly stolen – wanted to hand them over to deputies – items were placed into evidence – unable to locate owner or phone number

TPK (Warrant Arrest) Twin Peaks Station – Arrested and temporarily housed at Twin Peaks holding cell – transported to CDC – booked for outstanding warrant

LAA (Missing Person) Shenandoah Dr – RP wants to report son missing – subject left for work in his red Dodge pickup truck – subject works in Chino at Custom Magnetics – normally returns home between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – RP unable to reach subject via phone call or text message – deputy made several attempts to contact subject – unable to contact subject – left message for him to contact deputy – subject not located at any hospitals or contacted by law enforcement in the San Bernardino area – deputy was able to locate the last location of subject’s vehicle – vehicle was last seen at 5:31 p.m. at the intersection of Cherry Ave and Valley Blvd in Fontana – teletype entered for subject into the missing person system – vehicle information was also added to the teletype

TPK (Keeping of Property) Twin Peaks Station – RP in Twin Peaks Station lobby – on 5/24/24, subject came to the station to surrender his deceased father’s AR-15 – advised he did not have a use for the rifle – AR-15 and mags placed into evidence locker – subject provided receipt for recovered property – teletype entered for the rifle – will be entered for destruction

VOE (Domestic Battery) Waters Dr – On Saturday, 5/25/24, deputies from the Twin Peaks patrol division received a call for services in reference to a domestic dispute – during the course of the investigation, it was discovered that suspect and his girlfriend of three years were involved in a physical altercation after infidelity issues – the victim claimed suspect yelled in her face and pinned her on the bed – suspect used his elbow to press against her throat – the victim stated she felt her airway restricted; however, she did not want medical attention – the victim and suspect lived at incident location – do not have any children together – based on the information gathered, deputy arrested suspect for domestic battery – deputy transported and booked suspect on charges

BLU (Driving W/SUS/RV License) State Hwy 189/Fir Ln – Suspect stopped for expired registration – found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license – cite released

RSP (Assault) Nob Hill Dr/State Hwy 18 – CHP transfer – Subject 1 was celebrating her birthday with friends when she became intoxicated and wanted to leave the house – subject 2 had her keys and would not give them to her fearing she would drive while being intoxicated – an argument ensued – as subject 2 walked away, subject 1 scratched him in the face – out of self-defense, subject 2 pushed her pushed her away using the butt of his hand and shoving her in the face away from him 

CRL (Assault) Rocky Loop – RP calling back desiring prosecution – RP states he had a BBQ and was drinking with friends when subject went to his house to ask for her sister – RP told subject her sister was not at the residence – subject left location and returned to location – RP states his friend was attacked by the subject – RP went to help and got hit on the back of the head – subject states RP pushed her brother and the four got into a fight – a witness states male subject ran and tackled the RP – both RP and subjects were on top of each other fighting – witness states RP’s friend was not involved – just pushed down attempting to split up the fight – both subjects were issued a citation – negative video 

CRL (Domestic Battery) Straight Way – Victim and subject were in a dating relationship for seven months – lived together – on 5/25/24, victim and subject were in Ontario visiting family – while on their way back, subject hit victim on the left side of her face – subject tightly gripped victim’s left arm – left bruises – subject tightly grabbed, pinched and punched victim’s left thigh leaving multiple bruises – subject was gone and possibly in San Bernardino

LAA (Drunk in Public) Overlook Ln – Male and female fighting at incident location – stuff being thrown out the window – female screaming, climbing up the balcony to get into residence – on Sunday, 5/26/24, responded to call reference a domestic dispute – upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim at the foot of the driveway – deputy noticed victim had redness to the top of her head and left eye – suspect became uncooperative with deputies and stopped answering investigative questions – deputy spoke with the witness who stated she saw suspect punch the victim in the face – punch made the victim fall on the ground – suspect and the victim were in a dating relationship for the last three years and lived at the incident location – based on the information gathered, suspect was arrested for spousal abuse – suspect was transported and booked into CDC without incident

May 27, 2024

RSP (Driving W/O License) Hwy 18/Knob Hill – Driver pulled over for expired tags over four months – driver was never issued a driver’s license – cite given – parents were on their way to pick up vehicle 

CRL (Grand Theft Auto) Bowl Rd – Between midnight and 6:30 a.m., unknown subject(s) stole RP’s vehicle from outside her residence – RP allowed two people to stay at her residence for two weeks – asked them to leave shortly before the theft – the keys to the vehicle had been inside the residence on the kitchen counter – the keys are no longer at the residence – negative video surveillance

CRL (Paraphernalia) S State Hwy 138/Lake Dr – Cite given for glass pipe

CRL (Drunk in Public) Lake Dr/Pioneer Camp Rd – Suspect was located passed out at the Shell gas station – suspect was arrested and transported to CDC without incident
